Chapter 18

The woods waved off with the glowing thin lines, that shows the tearing apart of the woods, the light shone, but in a very different colour. The sky was reddish, very red, the clouds were like crimson and the leaves, all the leaves were dripping down drop of blood.

Kyar turned around, swiftly and turned again to me. She moved closer to me, as she jittered. I was as well, confused and a bit tensed. Like we switched our guts. I held her wrist, which was very little in the hollow of my palms. But I managed to grip it. My head started to receive some signals, which weakened my strength a little. I held my head and growled softly. Kyar startled and pulled her hand from my grip, she shifted backwards and in a bit, held her head too. The environment started to twirl, like I was intoxicated by a strong alcoholic beverage. My taste buds lost its strength as I felt a taste of strong lime. "Fuck it! what the hell is this" I asked, but Kyar was in no position to answer, in her own battle with the unknown toxic air.

I continued to battle it, and Kyar, maybe weaker, was already on the floor, lying like a log of corpse. I managed to carry her on my shoulder and held my head with the second hand. I looked around and after a meter walk, I saw a tree, different one, with green leaves and grapes, which I never had a thought of picking from. I managed to carry her there as I got weaker and weaker, about the ninth, tenth of my strength was gone. I felt more drowsy and the ground welcomed my body as I fell flat on the floor.

Another vision came, it felt real, just like the previous one, I tried to search for me, my children and wife, but found none.

This is another world? I asked myself as I wondered around, people can't see me, but I can see them and felt things that I touched. The things I touched felt like mountains that couldn't be shifted or pressed, not even feather or foams. But I did felt them and touched them all.

I walked around in the city, until I came across a voice, the one of my wife's boss, who shouted. "Hey Dyan. You would make sure you cope with or leave it, it's my company and not your fucking brooding room!" He thundered. I floated upwards to the window of her office. I watched as the bitter tear slid down her right cheek, her face was a hell, wrinkled, and cold. She looked a lot older than supposed. It's not even up to two months that I left her. Thinking and sobbing, weighed on her shoulders a lot that she aged so quickly. Her boss smashed the table in his office with the pile of files in his hands. The files scattered the table, making the files and papers on his table going in diverse ways. He too was a bit older, but that wasn't a miracle, he was a well-known sadist. Sadist gets older everyday, even before they are supposed to.

I went in the office through the window. Also in my human form. The illusion gave me my pasta to behold. I watched as my wife, Dyan, walked out of his office and I followed her, into her own office. She was devastated, broken, and lost. It was all written all over her watered face. She turned on her computer and with tears on her face, she tapped some keys and stopped, her fingers were on the keys but stopped.

My white eyes became pink and grew red, tears trickled down and I dropped into her office, visitors chair, staring at my lost wife from the opposite seat. I held her fingers and rubbed it. Maybe she felt it, she placed her hand on top of mine, with a relieved face, she closed her eyes, raised herself on the chair and inhaled deeply. "I miss you" she muttered and dispersed her hands to keys, continued typing, more energetically.

She was done in the office and went home. I froze at the entrance, watching my son and daughter, taller, fatter and grown, almost 12years older. They already became grown ups. I watched as a man came out behind them.

The man was body fitted. His muscles expanded the singlet he wore. And his broad chest was revealed through the upper space of the singlet. He walked from behind them and showed why Dyan was weeping and brooding in the office.

He walked out, furious from behind Cylas and Roseth, pushed them from the way, sideways and walked out between them. He went into his car, ignored Dyan's greetings and drove out of the house. Dyan moved hastily to meet her children, held them and nabbed Roseth's cloth, to dust away dusts from her stained wear.

"Sorry my dears. I hope..." Cylas, who was angered, flung his arms backwards and turned around into his room.

"I hate y'all" he yelled as he went in angrily.

"Mum... You should just leave this man alone, before he kill us all one day. He drinks, beats you and the rest of us. Even his own son, Borlan. He kicks him, at every chance he gets. I am fed up of all this mum, I am." She sobbed into her mother's arm. Dyan tousled Roseth's hair as Roseth buried her head into her arms.

Weakened by the scenery. I bent forward with my hands on my kneecap. The tears that came out from my face dropped to the ground. I walked towards them, forcefully and hugged them.

"I miss dad." Roseth said and the word echoed in my ears, repeatedly as I woke up from the vision. With tears in my eyes. Kyar was already awake.

I managed to sit up and opened my heavy eyelids. At first I thought she was standing next to a tree, but someone, a man was standing next to her. He looked old. He was in a blue monk garment. He held a book in his hands and scrambled leaves.
