They came near, and nearer. They looked like branches of a fallen tree. Their skins were dried, grayish brown and scaly, every moves try made, made a peek of their skin, and it regenerates every seconds. Their legs folded up the twigs and crush them into dusts, in every steps. Their eyeballs were out of the socket, looked reddish yellow, like a burning fire. Their claws was like the root of a tree and smoothen like the edge of a sword. They moved slowly, watching every steps.
Kyar didn't know more about them, than the gateway, the first demons, where we found ourselves. Slowly I began to regurgitate on the visions I saw in the house, or building of Mikorth. I started to get the urge to make a ball of glowing sparkles from my hand. I watched the hand responded to my thoughts, they produced a ball of glowing sparkles, with red and blue lights. They rolled, and we're like they were flames of fire. Immediately one of the bunyip saw it, it startled and screeched loudly. The bids from the trees flapped loudly, coherently and jumped off every nearby trees, about a five hundred black birds. The bunyips bowed immediately, even the supposed dead one, rose up and bowed down to us. Before they would raise their head, we were off the lane, Kyar held my wrist, and dragged me behind her."You thought you're their king now, that made you want to stare at them?" she asked, breaking every words as she panted along the way. What else? I thought"Yes, they did bowed down to me, when they saw what I did, I produced a ball of glowing flames from my hand, and they respected me for that." I responded, breaking words, as I panted to. She stopped and turned to me."Hey king, their king was present. The mother Bunyip. She would attack anyone, who was more powerful than her buns. They call those little Bunyips buns. She came, responding to third screeching, their own means of calling for help.""Fuck!" I cursed loudly, she rushed to close my mouth, from the shout. It was late already, the mother Bunyip heard and screamed in a thicker voice than her babies, making the little ones ran after us, with terrible smashes against the floor. Their footsteps were coming nearer and nearer. My thoughts came again and my hands responded to it. Quickly, I threw a ball in a random direction, which hit a tree, causing fire rage among the dried trees. Dried trees, and fire, a fierce fire, we had to run as fast as our legs would take us, to a safe.Running went out of option when the fire went off. The mother Bunyip put it off by the scream of the mother Bunyip. They caught up with us. It was left to fight only. I turned my head to Kyar, she did same and twisted her swords. I was fazed but she wasn't, she smirked at me "ready guardian?" Without getting a response, she ran towards one of the coming Bunyips, the leading one, she swirled her swords, that clanked with the Bunyip's claws, the two weapons made a flash of lights as the met in the air, attacking themselves. I watched as one of them, the second one, running, thumping the floor loudly, shaking as it ran furiously.I threw a ball of glowing flames at it. I missed and cursed, thought the Bunyip paused in fear and walked slowly, when it got a few steps from me. I hadn't knew well, how to control the sparkling flames. I had to focus, wait for a target. It should be as bowling. Just focus on one target, without fair and jittering. It should work.I waited, snarled and exhaled. Kyar was busy cutting a Bunyip in pieces, till they became two. The other three were standing before me."One by one" I muttered and walked slowly, anticlockwise. Just like starting a fight. My claws came out, sharp. The glowing sparkling flames came out and just as I had plotted, focused on one, the one at the left side. It looked like it was more afraid of the flames, than the others, then I chose my target and hit it. Luckily enough, it was so close at ripping off its head, but got it's arm, the hand burnt to ashes without regeneration. No wonder they were very afraid of it. Before the wailing Bunyip got to it's mother, I threw another one, as I took off from the ground with a technical flip, I threw it and it took off its head. The remaining two never wasted time, rotating for a fight to start, they attacked immediately, I startled, feared their rush and one jumped at me, at my face. My claws went in from it's jaw, before he landed, and only its head remained on my claws, the body dropped dead on the ground with a loud thud. The mother Bunyip screamed again, more loudly and furiously, that it shook all the ground. She raced at me, furiously, before she got to me, I already burnt, and slashed the last one, after Kyar provided a dead Bunyip with her sword. The mother Bunyip came, ravaging, running, breaking down obstacles. Just a meter away, she pressed her hand into the ground, forming roots, that growled in the same moment. Tilling the ground and tearing it apart, into it got to us. The swords and claws, became useless against it, even the flaming balls, did less to nothing to it. It starting squeezing our breaths out. Kyar brought an idea.We combined forces, I made a flaming arrow, used her bow, which she shot to the forehead of the mother Bunyip. The mother Bunyip released us from the grip of her root, before she regained energy, many flaming balls and arrows, had already brought the monster down to earth. It sank into the ground.Kyar turned to me and smiled at me, I turned to her also, panting one by one with heavy snarls and growls. We hugged each other with a laugh. If the first stage could be this dangerous, how much more the remaining two? We would face it, I am a champion. I held Kyar's hand and we walked out of the scene, happily and smiling, well, we just started, the woods tore apart, revealing a very different place. The woods waved off with the glowing thin lines, that shows the tearing apart of the woods, the light shone, but in a very different colour. The sky was reddish, very red, the clouds were like crimson and the leaves, all the leaves were dripping down drop of blood. Kyar turned around, swiftly and turned again to me. She moved closer to me, as she jittered. I was as well, confused and a bit tensed. Like we switched our guts. I held her wrist, which was very little in the hollow of my palms. But I managed to grip it. My head started to receive some signals, which weakened my strength a little. I held my head and growled softly. Kyar startled and pulled her hand from my grip, she shifted backwards and in a bit, held her head too. The environment started to twirl, like I was intoxicated by a strong alcoholic beverage. My taste buds lost its strength as I felt a taste of strong lime. "Fuck it! what the hell is this" I asked, but Kyar was in no position to answer, in her own battle with th
I managed to wobble up from the ground. I wiggled my head to clear off my head, and think straight. The tears in my face paused from flowing. It looked strange, a old man in this bloodbath forest. I rushed up and winced backwards, after some seconds I regained my balance, looked into Kyars face, a look of disapproval I gave her. "What?" She asked softly.I tried to get myself convinced that the man was safe to follow, and since he should be around the forest, he would have known one or more places, good for hiding. Then I agreed with my doubts, Kyar on the other hand, had no options too. She already agreed, since he already woke us up, from the sleep. "Welcome Guardian." He said with a smile of hope in his lips. He stared at me for long, as silence filled the place, and after the silence, he broke it all, as he cleared his throat. "This is called the present stage. The one you passed through, was called the Past stage, and the only one for you to go through, is called the future stag
"well, well, well." The old man monster, said as he laughed evilly, and walked and stopped four paces from us. "Terrified Guardian, not even the good, skilled and warrior guardian. Just a shitty newbie, calling himself a guardian of the end. Safe yourself now, you prick." He laughed harder again, more devilish and mean. He walked slowly, towards us. He pulled out a huge silver made mallet, and malleted the table, which was containing the magical, science test tubes, and cones. The long old, table, shattered on the floor and produced dusts in the room, immediately, I threw Kyar to my back and gave her lift to the door of the bunker. I pushed the door open and we got to the brighter room. Before we could find a way out of the sealed big room, running around in circles and in disarray. The old man's beast came out of the bunker, which we were far from, with his army of jersey devils, which looked like a winged, hoofed biped, with a bloodcurdling scream. They all marched out and flew aro
The door whirled and made some mechanical machine noises. The book space at the door, tilted sideways and enlarged, to fill some spaces. The door got opened eventually, after a short wait. We walked through the door. They all looked like aliens from Earth's TV shows, with their spines outside their body. They all looked peaceful, the enormous hall, built with rocks and very tall, in the inside where rare diamonds, attached to the corners of the temple. The first room was very enormous and empty, only few Chupakabras in robes were roaming around in the room. The room was very quiet, the Chupakabras steps were heard, even when they walked so quietly like they were charged for every steps, watching all bits of it. One of them, spotted us and moved slowly to us. We walked to him too. We met at the center of the hall, "welcome here Guardian and lady Kyar. The war lady. What seek ye, amongst the Chupakabras?" He said, picking one word, from.the other. I looked at him like an innocent chi
Orf took us to a room, we entered and he asked for our desired meal. We gave him our orders. Mine was a little more strictly given in details, as I mentioned every single thing I wanted in the food, which wasn't fazing the alien. He showed me a picture of what I was sweating on. I felt relieved and he grinned broadly, which looked very disgusting with his form of creation. He walked out, shut the heavy iron made door behind him loudly. "Phew!" I exclaimed. Kyar walked to the curtains. I looked around the interior of the room, they looked amazing. Just like the settings of a human room. It was beautiful, the television, chairs, ceiling fan, light bulbs, world maps on the wall, and many other beautiful decors, got the room to my very normal taste. I rubbed the bedsheet, feeling the wools in it. They were soft and puffy. I looked at Kyars direction, who stared out through the window still. Her mind was still in the troubled state. The suns was set to go, leaving one behind, the one su
I ran behind her. We got outside and see the temple branches crumbled and some on fire, a raging fire. Creatures were screaming, screeching, yelling and crying. The fighting Chupakabras were being flung from down the temple. We were at the pinnacle of the temple, the Chupakabras were being thrown up dead. They landed on some outer layers of the building and some went back down without legs or any part of their body. I stood and watched horror came in person. How could a demigod do this terrible things. I thought as I watched some hopeless creatures curled round their offsprings and wail. Kyar also looked disdainfully and heartbroken. She was numb for some seconds and ran off the building down. She floated down without wings. I believed and joined her in the flight. I threw myself off the temple head down. The demigod looked like a Draugr a huge beast, with bald head and a few waving grey hair at the end of its head. His eyes were glowing in red. His armour was second to none, made o
The clouds there was very mild and no clouds move a bit, there was no sun, only illumination made the clouds bright as day. Then I pondered on why they would say the Black Annis territory was a terror to behold, the firmament there was beautiful, the rainbows there in the clouds were two, intersecting each others. The unicorn went downwards and I wished we stayed up. The clouds came darker. The lighting alone could tear a creature in two, it was a great lighting and a big one. The rumbling could make a normal human being to deaf. The clouds was like a scarlet red. The droplets of waters that was coming from the clouds like rain was burning, hot like a boiler water. The unicorn flew very fast down. We got to a level where the rain stopped. The desolation of the place was massive. The brick houses that was demolished and the bones of creatures was all scattered on the floor. "There is the ever burning fire." Kyar pointed to the fire that was burning, it seemed to me like that of the th
"The good goblin you know has always being a monster to me, a ferocious beast. A more evil goblin to me. Who left me alone in the deep sea of love, drowning alone." The witch's voice was milder, her silhouette was far from us, amongst the smokes, she was standing alone in cape with a hoodie."What happened?" Kyar asked her. "I was in love with the only creature that seemed to understand why I was killing, even when everyone else saw the bad side of me, only the RedCap bastard saw the good side and together, we were very happy and stayed together in his castle. Then a faithful day came, once in the year, he went out from the castle, with bloodstains all over him, he came with a grin on his face, and a two heads in his hands. I was wrong about not telling him of my children in the Soul Kingdom. As I saw him come in with the heads that looked familiar to me, I knew I was with the wrong person. How could he kill them? My family will be at the risk of death, even I will be in the danger
