Payback

Adam was busy till he lost track of time and forgot to check on his wife after the two hours that he promised.

To crown it all,she forgot her phone inside the car, making it difficult to reach out to him.

Adam drove back to the sports house. He found Karina lying on the floor, looking exhausted and worn out, with bottled water.

"Hey!" He called.

"Finally! You promised two hours and came back after five hours? You really have no conscience" Karina replied, more in a joking manner.

"I apologize. I had to deal with some company issues and lost track of time. How was the training?" He explained, then questioned.
