Reuben pulled out his weapon which was a double sided flail, both edges looked like a huge metal ball with sharp spikes, with a prepared stance, Reuben swung the flail in the air as he noticed Nolan staring at his weapon, he remarked,

"I've never liked guns, flails are my go to weapons, makes the most damage." He chuckled.

Nolan knew that due to how his friends had been talking non stop about the cool NPC character in the game and how he used a super cool weapon to dash zombies, Nolan thought it looked even cooler in real life as he stood there watching.

Player dimensions was an extremely unique game, not only the were players given a chance to grow but even the NPCs were really cool and powerful, and a player ever defeating an NPC only depended on their abilities and gaming prowess. The NPCs were given a chance to grow along with the players.

Maya who was at his left pulled out two pistols from her belt, she still looked incredibly upset with Paul for attracting literally every single one of the zombies in th city, but knew they would have to face it and fight.

"Remind me to kick your ass later for this Paul," She glared at him one last time before kicking the door to the house shut just before the zombies could charge into the house.

The three stood closely together in the spacious living room of the house with a tacit understanding.

"Stay close Nolan." Reuben reminded as they all stood waiting, the zombies rushed banging crazily at the door which continued to shake almost falling off.

"The door is too little to accommodate all this bunch of impatient corpses all at once, so the minute they take down the door, just remember one word...kill." Reuben once again instructed and just as his words fell, the door fell as well with a big bang.

"Eat a mouthful of super bullets sucker!!!" Paul couldn't help but be loud once more as he unrestrainedly began shooting at the zombie's who were falling over each other bunched together at the door, the few who were able to pass through the door immediately fell as they were shot down by Paul and Maya, Reuben sent out his flail and a zombies head was immediately smashed into rotten flesh.

They worked in sync, using the physical weapons along with their magical abilities as well. Maya had a water ability which she used to freeze the whole bunch of zombies by the door before Paul would blow them up with his gun, Reuben would coat the spiky edge of his flail with his flames which would spread burning the zombie into ashes the minute it hit them, and if other zombies came in contact with that fire, they'd burn as well. Paul would laugh maniacally as he'd send out a heavy wind that threw a few zombies backwards, while other zombies continued to scramble forward roaring monstrously until they were shot down with multiple bullets.

However they all managed to restrain their powers, for they could run out of elemental energy to fuel their magic at anytime, hence they depended mostly on the physical weapons.

'Whoa, so coordinated?' Nolan exclaimed at the understanding between the three of them.

Maya's shots took down two zombies at once, as she aimed perfectly at two targets, Paul follows up and gets any zombies behind the ones Maya shoots while Reuben will smash the head of a zombie who'd fallen over itself.

The three were probably thinking Nolan wouldn't be able to join in the fight, so they kept him in the middle of their formation, however he felt an excited itch to join in and fight the zombies.

Even though he did want to go back to his life in the real world, this was every gamers dream, to be right in the game as all the action unfolds. And this burst of excitement was something Nolan couldn't resist either.

Right at that moment, a loud bang sounded from behind the group, as Nolan turned around to look, he found the window of the house ripped off by the persistent zombies who were pushing and shoving themselves into the house.

"Reuben, take the back, Paul and I will handle the entrance."

Reuben quickly shifted his attention to the incoming zombies from the open window, however he was quite surprised when Nolan positioned himself beside him taking a fighting stance as well.

Reuben looked at him with surprised filled eyes before appreciation shone in his eyes as he asked, "Do you have a weapon." He knew they needed all the help they could get anyway so he didn't dissuade Nolan from fighting.

Nolan nodded and Reuben's jaw dropped as he pulled out a frying pan and an old looking baseball bat. Not getting the time to show his surprise fully Reuben had to begin shooting his flames at the zombies as well as use his flail to finish the job. However he had a feeling this guy they'd happened to meet was someone full of surprises, for someone who'd been able to survive this long, he must have a few tricks or two up his sleeves.

"Activate grass mutation!" Nolan activated his powers and a burst of green flashed from his hands and all the zombies rushing in through the windows all became green stumps, Nolan was awed as the green continued to spread and all the zombies fighting and struggling to break into the house were stopped in place, he watched as the green spread to the large army of zombies far behind yet his powers didn't stop coming.

Reuben glanced at him incredulously, 'Seems this guy's powers aren't all that useless after all.' he thought to himself as he noticed some of the zombies at the forefront of the bunch had slowly begun to break out of the green binds, he quickly coated his flames onto his flail and began to blow up more zombie heads.

Nolan didn't waste time in charging forward as well, raising the pan and whacking at the zombies breaking free from his grass binds as well as using the baseball bat at the same time.

*Ding!

'2 zombies killed. 49,998 left to complete mission.'

*Ding!

'3 zombies killed, 49,997 left to complete mission.'

*Ding!

'4 zombies killed, 49,996 left to complete level one mission.'

Nolan felt a surging burst of adrenaline as he continued to whack the zombies to death. This was even more fun than the adrenaline he felt while playing the game through his NZXT Canvas, this felt even more satisfying.

Nolan didn't realize it, however he'd suddenly seemed to become a monster with nothing but a pan, a baseball bat and a seemingly useless grass ability, it was clean kill for the other three as all the had to do was use their powers in assisting themselves in slowing down the zombies from approaching them while they'd aim one precise shot to take down a zombie, however for Nolan, he didn't realize when he dashed into the pack of zombies unafraid he used his powers to immobilize them, then happily dashing their brains into goo.

With the black blood that had splashed onto his face, he looked like a manic killing machine as he laid waste to the attacking zombies who mindlessly didn't know fear as they charged towards Nolan even more only to have themselves falling dead.

"Whoo! Best weapon ever!" Nolan exclaimed, the pan still durable despite having been used to kill that many zombies, he was heaving and was definitely now surrounded by the zombies he couldn't even clearly see the other members of the legendary three anymore, but he continued to cause real damage to the corpses.

Though he couldn't see them, the other three could see him, including Reuben who'd been with Nolan a while before but now stood with the other two.

"Is this how he's been surviving rogue this whole time? Killing zombies with grass binding and a freaking pan?" Maya was the one who spoke up slightly breathless as she continued to freeze the zombies with her powers while casting an incredulously glance towards Nolan.

"Well you don't say." Paul muttered also quite astonished, "Does he have no limits to those grasses, his powers don't seem to run out."

Reuben shook his head in amusement, "It indeed takes a lot to be able to survive a zombie apocalypse, especially someone who's been living in the most infested city this whole time." Reuben said before jumping back into the action as if the crazed excitement Nolan was showing was contagious, they needed that same energy to be able to take back their world.

The other two also immediately fully focused on the fight once more.

From a god's eyes view, one could see the one house right in the middle of Blue city, surrounded by what looked to be over a thousand zombies, they'd get blasted backwards but pick themselves up again and run back towards the house, slowly a pile of them began to gather outside the house most of them covered in endless greens.

And after what seemed like a battle that lasted forever, the blue city fell silently still and nothing else could be seen but a giant pile of dead zombies outside one certain house among the residences.

*Ding!

'1,580 zombies killed, 48,420 zombies left to complete level one mission.'

'Congratulations on completion 11% of level one mission host.'

But as Nolan continued his killing frenzy, neither him nor the other three noticed one of the zombies that had been blasted far away slowly get on his feet, his body was still somewhat covered in the greens from Nolan's powers, it's lifeless eyes slowly seemed to clear, and some broken fragments of the zombies skin that seemed rotten slowly began to close up gradually beginning to look like a human's skin once more.
