Chapter 13

Archer smiled to himself as he walked out of the restaurant, he felt proud for defending himself.

The hate he had for people who abuse their power was so potent that he was tempted to call Madison and report the manager.

But he refrained from doing so, he wanted to deal with this himself before it escalated. He was going to keep his distance from Lola.

He didn't want her to get the wrong impression, so Archer brought out his phone to call the driver when he heard his name.

"Archer,"

He turned to find a somber Lola standing there with a somber look on her face. He sighed.

"Look, I don't..."

"I am sorry," Lola cut him off.

Archer furrowed his brows in confusion but Lola raised a hand to stop him.

"I am so sorry I assumed earlier but I know now that you were only trying to help."

Archer nodded but he kept frowning.

Lola smiled awkwardly, she couldn't make up for her rudeness but she could apologize for being so harsh.
