Chapter 19

Archer followed Madison to his office, his heart beating so fast that he was afraid she could hear it.

He checked his watch and sighed to himself, he was late and his manager was going to go off on him again.

Like being in an article and the center of attention wasn't enough. Archer lifted his head when Madison opened the door to her office.

She entered and started pacing almost immediately. Archer closed the door behind him and stood awkwardly in the corner as he watched her pace.

"Is everything okay?" he asked.

Madison kept quiet, she placed her hands on her hips as she stood tapping her feet on the floor.

"Madison?" Archer called again,

She stopped this time and looked at him like she was glaring at him. Archer met her gaze and held it.

Madison sighed when she realized she was acting out of proportion.

"I got carried away," she said in a form of apology.

Archer nodded, and he stepped closer to her. "I am so sorry, Madison."
