Chapter 266

Archer took a deep breath and stepped into the conference room. His executives have been hounding him to come.

It looks like they have gotten wind of what was happening to him. He already knew what they were going to say but it didn’t make him hurt any less.

“Good morning,” he said as he stepped into the room.

Their gazes swung to him and he smiled at them, they didn’t look impressed or happy to see him.

“What is this we are hearing?”

Archer sat down and shrugged, “what are you hearing?”

“Please don’t play with our intelligence. We agreed that if anything that could damage the company’s reputation happens then we should be the first to know.”

“I am aware,” he sighed. “But this came suddenly and with little time to get rid of a blackmail, I couldn’t come to you with it.”

“That is understandable but it should never happen again. We have worked so hard to build a relationship so it doesn’t crumble at the slightest chance of trouble.”

Archer nodded, “I am sorry about that but thi
