Because the rain

Alexia has been watching the girl ever since. Like the previous meeting, Amanda looked pale, even though her face had been covered with light makeup. Alexia also saw that Amanda was getting along well with some of the guests and Daniel's extended family. His appearance also looks excessive for the size of a household assistant.

Instead of being busy asking questions alone, Alexia chose to approach Amanda. "Hi, may I sit here?" he scolded.

Amanda seemed surprised by Alexia's arrival. "Uh, y-yes, miss. Please!" he replied while getting a chair for Alexia.

“Thank you,” said Alexia. “Oh yeah, just call me Alexia, it seems I'm younger than you. Hmmm…, sorry, I forgot your name…”

"I'm Amanda, Ma'am," said Amanda. He really couldn't pronounce Alexia's name without any affixes. He respected that woman so much.

“Amanda…” Alexia seemed to be nodding. "You've been working with my in-laws for a long time?" asks Alexia then.
