Newton ignored Zach and continued fiddling with the strap of the drum. "Almost fixed, Mr. Zach. I needed to strap it more tightly, to avoid the drum rolling off the pallet."

Zach nodded in understanding. "Okay. Good job, Mr. Newton. This is the last cargo for the day, and I must say, I'm impressed by your efficiency. From the moment I gave you this job, you have continued to impress me with the speed and efficiency with which you work. It's good to see people who are very good at what they do"

Newton smiled and quickly made his way back to the forklift. "You are too kind, Mr. Zach," he said as he raised the pallet and moved the forklift out of the truck.

As he drove toward the warehouse, he couldn't take his eyes off the drum. He couldn't help but wonder what secrets the heavy drum might hold. But for now, his priority was getting the job done without raising suspicions.
