As the clock struck 1:30 pm, Newton and Grinch stepped out of the building and quickly hailed a taxi on the road. They were running late for their shift at Fat-n-Obis, where they worked as forklift operators in the busy kitchen.

"Fat-n-Obis, please," said Grinch to the driver, who nodded and began driving towards the restaurant.

"Sorry we're running late," said Newton, checking his watch. "We had a few things that needed doing that took our time."

"No problem," said the driver, weaving through the crowded streets. "I know the job can get pretty hectic, but don't worry, we'll get you there in no time."
