"I... I." Tania stammered, her words caught in her throat. She felt so embarrassed and didn't know what to say. She felt like she was in a nightmare and wished she could wake up soon.

William held her slapped cheek. He felt a sharp pain, but he didn't show it. He also felt pain in his stomach, where he had been punched by Tania. He moaned softly, trying not to show his pain.
