“Excuse me?” Nathan began, having a calm, unbothered look on his face. He was angry to an extent.

“I said you ain’t welcomed here. This is no place for kids and brokies. There are more important people who needs to occupy your space. So, move out, boy!” A man in his late thirties barked at Nathan. The man was obviously just a personal bodyguard of one of the attendees.

But Nathan simply ignored him and continued watching the pretty lady as she exhibited her sneakers. He was really drawn to her work of art that he decided to buy it when it would be bid.

Nathan has spent many years of his life wearing worn out shoes. He never had the chance to wear a good shoe like the one that lady was displaying.
