“I said…!” The man in the suit roared with so much anger. As he stood just in front of the door, his strong presence was felt to the ends of the reception area.

He wasn’t alone. Over 9 guards also strapped in suits were stationed beside him. These guards were so muscular that their biceps and abs were screaming aloud, wanting to rip through their dresses.

Everyone turned to Lady Lily to see her reaction. Her reaction shook everyone right off their feet.

“Is she kneeling down?”

“No! She’s bowing. Why’s that? How’s that possible?”

“Who’s this man?!”

One by one, all the other staffs in the building stopped whatever they were doing and knelt down before the man in the suit. Even the Nurse.

The only people who didn’t get on their knees were the patients and other people who had little or knowledge of the man in the suit.

Another person who didn’t kneel was Nathan. Nathan was far from kneeling down. In fact, he was shocked.

The powerful man in suit ignored everyone and as so

Everyone gasped in extreme shock. Their mouths were literally wide open. Lady Lily walked up to Fred, making sure she kept a good distance. “Um.. master Fred, I’m sure there is a mixup here, some sort of misunderstanding! Um you see, this young man is just a regular customer and I’m sure he probably only had his appearance and nothing else!” Lily said, shaking. Fred turned to Nathan. “Young master, how do you intend to punish this insolence? Your wish is my command, sir!” Fred said humbly, making everyone even more confused. “Did he just bow before that boy?” “What’s going on!” Nathan then cleared his throat. He already knew just what he wanted and today he would teach everyone around him a lesson. Especially the nurses and doctors who were partial. But most of all, he would make Lily pay! “Tonight, Lily loses her job and must be replaced by a better manager. Fire her! And fire this ill mannered receptionist behind me. The hospital is short of employees. I want as many

“What?!” Nathan asked in astonishment. He tried to hide his surprise, but it was evident that he was really taken aback. “Tell me, Fred. Just how rich am I?” Nathan settled down to think about the possibility of being so rich that almost every company belongs to him. But this was beyond imagination. It was all real. It wasn’t an illusion or some type of trans. He wasn’t dreaming. Everything was real. “Let’s just say you won’t be able to imagine it, young master. This is just one of your many Estates across London!” Fred said and smiled at the young man. He was getting fond of him and admired his humility. Soon, the convoy stopped at a duplex, but it wasn’t a house. It was more of a company. They stepped down and already standing there in front of their parked car was a woman, a man and a few other neatly dressed individuals. As soon as Fred and Nathan stepped down, they lowered their heads to show their respect. “Hey Ann! How was the flood here? It seems it didn’t get

Ann was excited hearing that expression come from Nathan. She found satisfaction knowing that Nathan loved the apartment. The building was heaven on earth. The sitting room was an excellently constructed space with sleek, modern furnishings and tasteful decor. The walls were adorned with vibrant paintings and elegant sculptures, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. Plush sofas and armchairs beckoned invitingly, promising comfort and relaxation after a long day from school. It was breathtaking. The sitting room flowed seamlessly into the dining area, where a gleaming table surrounded by cushioned chairs awaited. A crystal chandelier hung overhead, casting a warm glow over the room and adding a touch of glamour to the space. That was the type of dining experience where each bite of food was like a taste of elegance. Ann walked Nathan to the kitchen. That was another wonder to behold. The kitchen was a chef's dream, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and ample

The clock struck 7:00 am. Nathan's eyes gently opened. What a night. He was awake but had no yearning to get up. He slept like a baby. The bed was truly a real time automatic massager. Nathan took his phone and went to his Google photos. He began looking at pictures that he and Amanda had taken many years back. Memories were flooding in. For the record, Nathan really thought she was the one. She was the only person who had ever given him so much attention and care. No one else cares about her. One time, Amanda even stood up for Nathan when he was about to be bullied by some bad guys. This incident happened at high school. Nathan had known Amanda for many many years. The first time he set his eyes on the pretty soul, he was quickly drawn to her and he was determined to talk to her. But he never did. He was too empty to make a move. His mental health was in danger, his financial health was deteriorating. Meeting a pretty queen like Amanda would just be a quicker way of fina

School today was as expected. Busy! Students were talking about the flood that happened last night. But most importantly, they talked about the Mr. Humble Bee who took April Freman from a mermaid to a marqueen. It was terrific. Nathan simply walked gently to his class. His friends Marcus and Neil ran up to him and pulled him aside. “Hey dude.” Marcus began. “What’s up with you lately? We don’t hang out often, you’re more cold than before, and yes, you literally bought a necklace worth $1.7 Million and gave it all out to your ex! What’s going on bro? You’re hiding things from us!” Nathan sighed. Truly he hasn’t been so close to his friends lately. Being the head of a trillion dollar empire was no small feat. As a matter of fact, this was only the beginning. But no matter what happened, Nathan could not afford to say a word about his wealth to anyone. Not a single soul. At least not yet. “Um.. look guys, after the breakup between Amanda and I, I just thought that I should fix

Everywhere went dead silent for about a minute or half. And then, like a pin suddenly touching a balloon filled with water, everyone burst into fists of heavy laughter. “Omfg! Who knew Nathan had such lines?” “Holy cow. Nathan just slapped Dave on his cheeks!” “What is he even thinking? That he can challenge Dave? He must be crazy!” “Fuck! So much confidence for a dude who couldn’t even afford a proper gift on Amanda’s birthday.” “But I ain’t gon lie, I never knew Nate got steez. He literally roasted Dave.” “Accept the challenge Dave. It would be fun to see him walk out of the hall with shame written all over his face.” Dave was angry, but at the same time, he was happy to know that people still believed in him and his wealth. “I accept your challenge, church rat! I can’t wait to see the tears on your face as you return back home in shame! David blurted. The heated conversation soon ended and Nathan walked away quietly. Marcus and Neil were both silent, having nothing

Ann had mixed reactions seeing Nathan’s call on her phone. She was excited, but at the same time, she was scared. Has something bad happened? Was she in trouble? Or perhaps his apartment has some issues? Ignoring those thoughts, she went ahead and picked up the phone before she would make the mistake of keeping the CEO waiting. “Hello, sir Reed. Greetings to you. I hope you are having a lovely day?” she asked thoughtlessly. “Ann, what is lovely about the day when you can’t give proper orientation to your security men on how to treat strangers?” Nathan asked furiously, but his voice was calm and stoic. Ann’s heart leapt to her chest. What had gone wrong? What did the security men do? “I'll be right with you in no time, Sir Reed” Ann said and quickly dashed out of her office to address the issue she knew nothing about. All she knew was that at this point, anything that would make sir Reed to be this furious would not be a light matter to handle. It could be a death sentence.

April ended the call and adjusted her sitting position quickly. She heaved a nervous sigh. Something was off. Why was Mr. Humble Bunny stepping down from a taxi? He didn’t have a car? He is supposed to. A person who spent thousands of dollars on votes should definitely be able to purchase a car. But April ignored it. It didn’t matter. What mattered was that she would finally be able to see the person who elevated her and thank this man so much. Just then, a young, tall guy on an elegant suit stepped into D Royals eat out. It was already dawn and the lights in the eatout were not exactly bright enough, but April could vividly recall where she had seen this suit. Aha! Yes! She was working on a fashion project where she was asked to list the top 10 most expensive dresses for men and for ladies. She went online and casually wrote down their names because purchasing just one of those dresses was a mere fantasy and would cost her a fortune to get. She might need to work for 3 years

Then, he pointed to some images of some really big and influential business men and women along with top tier kids with the X mark on them with a marker paint? Or blood? It didn’t matter. The message was clear. “Listen, Kamsi, the world is a gameboard,” Donald said, his tone cold and deliberate. “And every single player is either an asset or a liability. Those marked here…” —he gestured to the images with red Xs— “were liabilities. People who stood in the way of progress. My progress. And now, they’re nothing. Pew… Vanished like thin air!” Kamsi’s eyes scanned the board. She recognized some faces—politicians, CEOs, heirs to fortunes. People who, at one point, seemed untouchable. Yet here they were, reduced to mere trophies on Donald’s twisted scoreboard. “So, this is your playbook?” she asked, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and disdain. “You decide who lives and who dies?” Donald smiled, a dark and knowing expression. “Not quite. I don’t kill for sport, Kamsi. I kill

“Where are you going child?” Asked Donald. Kamsi paused and turned around. “I’m going to kill Alex,” She said flatly. “Since you are not going to do anything even though I’ve told you all the things he did to me. So, I am going to take matters into my own hands!” Donald smiled and scoffed. He got up from his office chair, walked to the front of his table and sat on it. “Tell me how exactly you plan to do that child! You’re gonna just show up to his face and put a bullet through his skull?” He asked. “Well, yes. That is exactly what I am doing. I don’t think you understand the things he did to me. Every night for years I cried my lungs out! You’re becoming too weak and…” “Shh…” Donald shushed her and walked towards her. Then, he placed her head on his chest. “Let it out kid. Let it out.” “Now… now my fucking brother is dead and I was not the one who killed him. I deserved to be the one to take his life, Donald!” Kamsi's voice cracked as she buried her face in his chest. “Who the fuck are you?” cried the dude in pain as he managed to pick himself up and ran away. Emily, seeing that their attack and defense system was weak, began to back off. “Fuck you! You are fighting for this ugly, bitch. This is not new to her, stupid. Her boyfriend does worse every day. Good luck saving her from herself and from her boyfriend. You are a fool!” Emily then ran along with the rest of them. Those words rang in Mr. Frost’s ear over and over again, ‘Her boyfriend does worse everyday!’ That explained so much. So much. Her innocent smile, the bag beneath her eye, the hesitation in her voice, and the way she deflected kindness—it all made sense now. Mr. Frost clenched his fists, his sharp mind processing every detail with surgical precision. He turned to Clara, who was slumped on the ground, her arms shielding her face as though bracing for more blows. “Clara,” he said softly, his tone stripped of its usual calculation, replaced with genuine concern. “It’s over. Most people would’ve made a scene.” He smirked faintly, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. “I’ve learned that making a scene rarely solves anything. Besides, it wasn’t worth the energy.” Clara nodded, studying him for a moment before straightening up. “Well, if you need anything else, just call for me.” Before she turned to leave, he stopped her. “Here, my card. He walked into the restaurant, blending seamlessly into the mundane hum of everyday life. His attire was plain—a worn jacket, a modest button-down shirt, and slacks that spoke of a man who had neither wealth nor prestige. It was all part of the act. He moved with an unassuming grace, each step measured, each movement calculated to ensure no one looked twice. Sliding into a seat near the window, he scanned the room. The clink of cutlery, the murmur of quiet conversations, and the occasional burst of laughter filled the air. It was a world that seemed to forget its troubles, even if just for a while. A young waiter approached, her notepad in hand. “Your order, sir?” she asked flatly, her tone betraying a routine she had repeated countless times that day and other days and probably all her life as a teenager. He looked up at her, a soft smile on his face, his eyes crinkling just enough to seem harmless. “Water,” he said simply. Her pen paused midair, and her eyes narrowed slightly.

“Mr. Donald, tell us, is it true?” “Are all the accusations true?” “Is it true that you orchestrated the death of Nathan Reed? That you put a bomb on his chopper?” “The public needs and answer, Mr. Aruthur!” Donald ignored all the questions, walking into the building facility like he was truly guillty, his face as stiff as the knot of his tie and the belt around his waist. He went straight into the reception area, his personal security walking besides and behind him, and then he demanded to see the CEO, Samuel Langford. Donald had so many reasons to point fingers at Samuel for the incident that happened to Nathan. He had every cause to believe that Samuel planned every detail so it would expose him to the world. After all, they were having an intense feud as he owed the Langfords over 100 Million Euros. “Sorry sir, you can not see Mr. Langford at the moment. He is occupied and is not accepting visitors that are not family members or important friends. And you would need

You stole my fiance’s heart from me and…” “Sh… shhh!” Emma shushed her slowly, passing her meal through the lock box. Vanessa was getting wildly slim. She looked like a disaster in the body of a dejected camel craving for a drop of water from the sky, its neck stretched out and elongated. The once pretty, sleek Vanessa was now a shadow of her former self when she was still in abject poverty and suffering. “Come on now, Vanessa. You are asking the wrong questions and making the wrong lamentations. Don’t you wonder where your fiance has been all these weeks? Why he has not found you or called out an intense search. Dr. Hearst finally broke his silence, his voice calm but unsettling. “Donald is right about one thing—this isn’t random. Someone planned this, and they knew exactly what they were doing. A man like Nathan Reed doesn’t just… vanish unless someone wants him gone. But the real question is: why frame us?” Vivian crossed her arms, her sharp gaze fixed on the doctor. “You mean to tell me someone orchestrated all this just to spark a war between us and the Reeds’ allies? What kind of lunatic does that?” “One who stands to gain from it,” Hearst replied, his tone icy. A tense silence filled the room, thick with suspicion and paranoia. Donald broke it with a guttural growl. “Fine. I’ll find out who did it. And when I do, I’ll make sure they regret the day they were born. Nobody crosses Donald Arthur and gets away with it. Because I am already receiving calls and many of my investors and clients are withdrawing their funds from my company! I am going down!” He pointed to Enrique. “You are

    CHAPTER 363

“Breaking News! The city of London is reeling in shock and dismay as it faces one of the most heartbreaking losses in recent memory. Following the unprecedented open apology issued by Nathan Reed to Donald Arthur for disrupting his daughter’s wedding—a move that had already left many questioning his intentions—tragedy has struck in the most unimaginable way. Reports confirm that the private chopper carrying Nathan Reed, one of London’s most influential businessmen, exploded mid-air shortly after takeoff earlier today. Alongside Reed, the pilot and an unidentified passenger were also aboard the aircraft. Authorities have stated that there are no survivors. This catastrophic event comes on the heels of a series of baffling actions by Reed. Just weeks ago, he paid an eye-popping 100 million euros as compensation to Arthur, freed members of the Davenport family who were previously arrested, and was last seen visiting Donald Arthur’s estate in a surprising public gesture of reconciliati
