“Young man, you are a thief, is that so hard to see? Just plead guilty, turn in the car and serve a few months of punishment. If you keep refusing to cooperate, things will only get worse for you,” the officer said sternly, his tone brooking no argument.

Nathan sat in the interrogation room, his hands clenched into fists. He was disappointed with the fact that even the police could not dig into this matter and ensure that both parties were heard from.

Or maybe they did dig into the matter and found out the truth, but they were too greedy to refuse a bribe. They chose to turn a blind eye due to their own interests or the influence of powerful individuals involved. The company had definitely met up with them and they had definitely made an alliance.

For real though, when the company heard that a little college kid had ownership of the most expensive car they ever made, they knew that was a quicksand to quickly drown the young boy in. Who would believe a young college kid anyway? W
