CHAPTER 59

The morning was a beautiful one for Nathan. He slept well and did not bother waking up to prepare for school as he was under suspension. He actually needed to have a good night’s rest. He had the most busy month of his entire life.

As soon as he was out of bed, he walked into the kitchen to prepare himself a cup of coffee. He looked at the world through the facade of his window and he admired the serenity that lavished his mighty home.

It was empty, really empty. Sometimes, he would even hear his own echoes when he made calls. He needed people around. Despite the fact that he loved living in solitude, it was mentally exhausting.

He thought about his friends, Marcus and Neil. He understood their feelings and chose to see things from their perspectives. They had every right to be angry. He never told them who he was and how he got his wealth. He wished they would understand that he despised attention and he only desired to keep his wealth a secret.
