A Drop Of Tears

Richard arrived at the bar where he first met with Chris but Chris was nowhere to be found. Letting out a deep sigh, he hurried down to reserve a seat for the both of them and ordered for few drinks.

He didn't realize how much time had passed and he had finished up the bottles of drinks he had ordered, luckily for him, they were non-alcoholic so he could drive without getting penalized for driving when drunk.

"He's not even here yet? I've been waiting for three hours now." Richard murmured, he paid the waiter and left the bar only to find Chris leaving his car as they caught sight of each other.

"I'm so sorry for the delay, I was caught in traffic." Chris apologized, beads of sweat already gathering on his forehead to make his excuse look real. "Shall we?" He asked as he gestured for Richard to follow him inside the bar.

Richard rolled his eyes at Chris when the latter had already looked away and was heading towards the bar. He had no choice but to follow him in.
