Discharged

Back in the hospital, Larry held onto a clean wet towel, wiping the sweat out of Liana's face as she lay still on the hospital bed. Larry tended to be careful while he wiped the beads of sweat that formed on her forehead and shook his head while he examined her pale skin.

"You've become skinny." He said exhaling as he finished with his task, keeping the towel on top of a cupboard as he sat beside her on the bed.

Liana sighed, she barely had the strength to speak and her voice was barely above a whisper. "Water." She muttered under her breath.

Larry took a bottle of water and handed it over to her, with her trembling hands she was able to help herself, gulping them slowly down her throat as Larry gazed at her pitifully.

When she was done, he kept the bottle of water beside him in case she needed it again.

"You look quite pitiful, I was scared to detach that I might lose you." He said removing the strand of hair that fell on her face. Her rubbed her numb lips with his thumb as he felt h
