Chairman Conrad apologized to Wilfred and his father before they left, as they canceled any plans they had to marry Grace to the Chairman's annoyance. Grace waited for him in his study as she went through some inventory books until her father came in sighing.

Seeing his daughter reading peacefully as if nothing happened earlier baffled him and he wouldn't take that. He walked up to where she was seated and tapped her shoulder gently.

"Meet me at the sitting room." He said before leaving.

Grace raised her brows in confusion. "Well, I'll have to read this later then." She said before closing the book and putting it back on the shelf then she headed out to meet up with her father in the sitting room.

On getting there she heard voices. Her sisters were present and her father was sitting in the head chair.
