Mr Bright looked at Moore in confusion.
"A rich guy transferred 100 million dollars to his beloved grandson yesterday as a birthday gift. What if this person standing here is the grandson, I'm not sure he is this one but I need to confirm." He thought deeply, he took a deep breath and looked at Moore. "Are you Moore Jackson?." He asked."No, why are you asking?." Moore replied sharply, he denied his name in front of everyone. Mr Bright's face expression changed immediately."Thank God he is not the one, let's deal with this in a proper way." Mr Bright muttered under his breath, gnashing his teeth. He looked at Moore with a hateful look."Where is your card?." He requested, Moore shoved his hand into his pocket and brought out the card, then he handed it over to him.Mr Bright collected it and threw it away at once."There is no way 100 million dollars will be in this card. Are you trying to play with us? Look Mr we have a lot of work and customers to deal with. Please just step out of this place before you get punished for what you did." Mr Bright shouted at him. Moore became angry and irritated."What do you mean by I was trying to play with you. I also have what to do, so get that straight into your skull. I have explained myself times without number to you. I am not telling a lie I truly have such an amount in my bank account." Moore fired back with lots of rage."Look at the way he talks, it truly shows that he doesn't have such an amount in there." A customer stated and smirked."You can't just come here to insult our manager, he is taking everything slowly with you yet you are still proving stubborn." The clerk yelled at him, but Moore cared less as he was thinking how he could be denied his own money and he couldn't do anything about it, they were even mocking him."Sorry, but I don't believe you, how can you bring a regular card claiming you have such a huge amount there, that is impossible. The clerk was right, I think I took things easy with you. That's why you felt you could do whatever you wanted to do. If you cannot prove yourself then prepare to be locked up." Mr Bright threatened with a grin."If I may ask, why can't I have 100 million dollars in this card?." Moore asked with curiosity."I will gladly answer you, I think you should have asked this earlier on but I don't blame you, your brain didn't pass the message across to you." Mr Bright mocked him, and everybody laughed hard except Moore. He cursed them under his breath in anger."He is so dumb." Another person said and they laughed again, after the laughter had subsided, Mr Bright cleared his throat."Any bank user with more than 50 million dollars will be given a golden card which indicates high respect but you don't have it, you claim to have 100 million dollars and you bring a regular card." He explained calmly."Gosh, I didn't know this is how it is done here, what I'm I going to do now?." Moore thought."He might be a fraud." A customer said."Yes he is." Another customer supported, and they began to insult Moore the more."I need to defend myself before things get out of hand." Moore thought and spoke."No I am not, I'm really sure about the money, but the only thing is that I didn't know I will have to get my card changed into a golden card." He defended himself.A serious middle-aged man came in. "Who parked his or her car at the front of the gate of the bank? We are expecting a respected guest today, so the car must be moved away right now." He announced, Moore remembered how he parked his car. "I am the owner of the car." Moore spoke up, everybody bursted into boisterous laughter."First it was the money and now the car, how long will he continue to lie to everyone, I guess he is addicted to lying." A customer insulted, and they laughed again."Why did they have to take me for granted always, do they think I just come here to lie and play around?. I will show them my evidence." Moore thought in fury. He brought out his key and waved it in the air."Did you believe me now?." He sent a discomforting question to them, they became uncomfortable because they knew that car wasn't a cheap car."I think he is telling the truth this time around." The workers whispered into their ears, the customers also began to murmur to themselves. The middle aged man ( Ford) was confused at what was happening before he came in."Why did they laugh when he said it was his car? It is nothing new for someone to own a car but why was he looked down upon. Something must have happened here." Mr Ford thought and passed his gazes around. He felt the urge to ask but something was restricting him."I don't know what happened, and I don't think I am ready to know. All I want is for the car to be moved away from that spot immediately." He thought and faced Moore who was still looking angry."Go and move your car away from that spot right now." He said, Moore walked out and parked the car elsewhere. After he was done, he went back in but now, customers were now getting attended to."Thank God the whole drama has ended." He said, the clerk and manager still want a lot of drama with the looks on their faces."I have done what you told me to do." Moore informed, Mr Ford nodded."I need to call the honorable guest." He muttered, brought out his phone and dialed a number. Suddenly, Moore's phone rang. The manager heard Moore's phone rang, and he faced him."How dare he put his phone on ring when the president is here?." The clerk whispered, Mr Bright heard it and spoke up."Turn down the sound of your phone, what if it disturbs the honorable guest? You have caused more than enough trouble already so don't add to it." Mr Bright yelled at him."You can't tell me what to do Mr manager." Moore snapped and rolled his eyes before picking you up the call."You don't talk to me like that, you this useless fellow." Mr Bright yelled back at him, Mr Ford wasn't paying attention to their conversation as he was expecting the honorable guest to pick up his call."I will leave your bank after receiving this call, I have had enough of the insult." Moore said in anger and picked the call."Hello." Mr Ford said, his voice came out of Moore's phone because he put it on a loud speaker, everybody was shocked. Moore gave out a small smile and sneered."That means I am that honorable guest." Moore said
Mr Ford rolled his eyes and faced Moore, he turned a deaf ear to their pleas."Please let's go into my office." He said to Moore. He nodded and followed him. They stopped in front of an office, a tag was attached to the door, 'The President's Office' was ascribed on it. Mr Ford opened the door, Moore went in and he followed."Take your seat Mr Moore." He offered, Moore sat down, then he proceeded to his seat and also sat down."I am very sorry for the way you were treated today." "They are both irresponsible, how can they treat a customer that way? I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there." "I am sorry once again." He apologized again."It's fine." Moore replied and rested his back against the chair."I have already made your golden card." Mr Ford informed, he paused and opened his drawer, then he brought it out."Here is it." He said stretching it out to him, Moore collected it and smiled. He checked it out one million times. He has never imagined that he would se
Moore's eyes turned red as he heard all that Fiona said to everyone. He felt a thorn in his heart."I can't believe Fiona could say all these after everything I have done for her. I was the foolish one." Moore muttered with a clenched jaw.He was about to say something when he heard Sam's voice."Why did you have to speak ill of someone who trained you to where you are? You should be called the useless one here, not Moore." Sam snapped at her."Moore did everything possible just for you to be better than him, you got everything and all you could think of was to write him off and break up with him. You are a big fool Fiona." Eric yelled at her in anger."I don't blame you, I blame Moore for everything. If only he listened to us then, then you won't be able to insult him the way you did. We don't even want a job from a scum like you Fiona." Bethel shouted and spit on her.Fiona was very angry at what was said to her."They are not even afraid of the position I am in. I won't let this sl
Moore pushed the security men aside, shoved his hand into his pocket and brought out his card. He showed everyone the card."Well, this card was given to me by the host of this job fair which means I am an employer not someone who is looking for a job. I am sure Fiona and her new found love has the card too, So why do I have to get kicked out by my fellow employer?." He stated with a cool and soft voice. He still retains his gentleness after everything."That is not possible, you can't be in the same position I am, which means this card is fake." Fiona kicked against it immediately.."It is an original card and not fake." He tried to defend himself, even though he knew Fiona wouldn't accept."No, it is a fake card." Fiona shouted loudly, the securities rushed in immediately."This fool here claimed to be an employer here, then he brought out a card and showed me which I surely know is fake while our cards are original. I don't know where he got it from but I am sure that he stole it
Moore and his friends sat in a circle as they gist about things. Suddenly, Moore's ringing tone interrupted the conversation. He shoved his right hand into his pocket, brought out his phone and checked the caller ID. He was surprised to see it was Mr Gilbert. "Excuse me please, I need to pick this call." He excused himself and left for an empty space before picking it. "Mr Gilbert, how are you doing?." He greeted with a solemn voice. "I'm fine, where are you young master?." He asked. "I am at the college job fair center." He replied immediately. "I need to see you, please meet me at Loyalty restaurant right now." He demanded. "No problem, I will meet you there in a few minutes." The call ended. He walked back to where his friends were with an apologetic expression on his face. "Guys please I need to leave now an emergency just came up. I will see you later." He apologized. "There is no problem, we will meet up later." Sam said with a smile. They exchanged greetings before h
Mr Gilbert ushered Moore in, the workers were in awe to see him do that to a poor person. He has never done it to a rich fellow like him. "Who do you think he is?." A waiter asked her colleague. "I don't know, I haven't seen him here before?." "He must be really important for boss to usher him in with a beautiful smile." "I agree to that." The waiters concluded and watched them in full concentration. They entered the private lounge which had dim colorful balls and bulbs. It was beautiful, sofas were perfectly arranged, there was also a table for two people on a date, but he wasn't on a date. Maybe he was on a date with Mr Gilbert. He smiled at his silly thoughts and looked around. "This is beautiful." Moore complimented before settling himself on a sofa. "Yes it is." He replied. "So, why did you call me here? I was actually having a meeting with my friends." Moore stated in a hush voice. "I am sorry Moore, but we need to talk about important things. Firstly, what will you li
Having lots of thoughts in his mind, couldn't think straight. He slapped his head with his palm thinking he could regain his memory. Maybe he could remember something or someone, but that method didn't work.Of truly someone was behind it then there would be a clue. His eyes widened when he discovered that he was about to collide with a car, he quickly maneuvered towards an empty space, fortunately, his plan was successful. He pulled the car to a stop and placed his hand on his chest as he breathed heavily. Moore thought he was going to lose his life but he managed to save the other driver and his life. He waited for some minutes before driving off but this time his full concentration was on the road. He spotted a bar after driving for minutes."This would help." He said to himself, pulled over at the bar's garage, came down and walked in.He took a seat in front of the bartender."What would you like to have?. A waiter asked."Get me a bottle of whisky." He ordered in a lower tone. T
Claudia parked her car properly, removed the key and rested her head on the head board. "I hope they will believe me." She thought and sighed heavily before walking out of the car. Her heart was beating faster than normal for the fear of the unknown, as she got to the entrance she quickly stopped walking, with the fear that something bad would happen. Her face got pale immediately, the fear she was trying to hide embraced her. "Should I go in?." She questioned herself, sweats started gagging up on her forehead due to the fear. "What should I do? I don't want to go in now." She feared the more, she started pacing to and fro to ease the fear. After a few minutes, she decided to go in. The guards opened the door for her. The family members were sitting on the sofa, her parents ( Frank and Georgia), her grandfather Derek and her cousin Alfred sat on the sofa by the left. They all tilted their necks towards the door as Claudia entered absentmindedly, she froze when she raised up her
