CHapter Seventy Six
The next morning began with a sense of tranquility that settled over Alex and Sarah’s home. The birds were chirping, and sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow across their bedroom. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, beckoning them to start the day.

“Smells like heaven,” Alex murmured as he stretched, his hand reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from Sarah's face.

Sarah smiled, her eyes still heavy with sleep. “It’s the little things, isn’t it?” she replied, her voice soft and content.

They dressed and made their way to the kitchen where Jason was already seated, a cup of coffee in hand and a look of determination on his face.

"Morning," Alex greeted, pouring himself a cup. "You’re up early."

"Big day," Jason said, trying to mask his nervousness with a smile. "Got that job interview. I want to make a good impression."

Sarah placed a plate of toast on the table and joined them. "You'll do great, Jason. Just be yourself."
