Dr. Taylor injected the serum into a nearby zombie, and within seconds, it began to transform back into a human.

"It's working," Dr. Taylor said, her eyes shining with hope.

But Kael's eyes narrowed. "No," he growled. "You'll never win."

And with that, he summoned a massive zombie, its eyes glowing with an unnatural hunger.

"Take care of them," Kael said, his voice dripping with malice.

The zombie charged, its arms outstretched. Alex and Jax fought back, but they were vastly outnumbered.

Just when it seemed like all was lost, the survivors rallied, fighting back against the zombies with renewed hope.

But Kael was too powerful, and soon he had the upper hand.

"You're finished," he said, his eyes gleaming with triumph.

And with that, he raised his hand, ready to deliver the final blow...

"No!" Alex shouted, trying to deflect Kael's blow. But it was too late. Kael's hand came down, and everything went black.

When Alex came to, they were lying on the ground, their head throbbing in pain.
