CHAPTER 18

After the extensive meeting and agreement, Gary retired to his office. At first, he sat behind his new mahogany desk, and he tried to wonder how hard it was to be in a position of power.

The responsibilities, the power and decisions, everything rested upon him. He needed to be careful, and responsible. Not even the evident fact that some of the board members never trusted his capability, and assuredly they would be on the lookout for ways to make him make mistakes or to contend with his shares if possible.

However, he had just been elected as the new president of the company, and he was determined to make some changes.

While he thought about this, the electric door slid open and a figure walked through.

"Mr Carter junior!" Mr Winfield stood at the door waiting for Gary to wave him in.

"Yes, Mr Winfield!" Gary was quite curious about what Winfield wanted to say.

Winfield stood before the mahogany desk then he handed over a brown file to him. "Here Mr Carter junior."
