CHAPTER 19

It was Gary's first time sitting behind a mahogany desk, hence things were a bit different and of course technical but he knew he was going to fit in regardless of the initial tension.

His eyes were glued to the files in front of him, of course, he had been going through them for hours, trying to make sense of the numbers and figures. He rubbed his eyes and leaned back in his chair, letting out a deep sigh.

On a different note, his heart glowed, he was at least able to make a decision that tempered with someone who had dealt with his dignity before. But while he was in the middle of his thoughts, the sound of his phone chiming interrupted his thoughts, and he groaned inwardly.

He picked up the phone, and Steve's voice came through. "Young master."

"Steve! Any problem?" Gary arched his eyebrow in curiosity.

"Young master, I'll be at your office soon so we can head home."

"What! Why? Any problem? I still have a lot of things to sort out. I shouldn't leave now."
