The conference room was filled with tension as the board members sat in silence, processing all the bad news that had just been delivered. Mr Johnson, had imaginary smiles drawn across his brow as his eyes scanned the room as he took in the reactions of the board members.Inwardly, he felt his plan had been achieved. Everyone took the words as he had said it without wavering.
