CHAPTER 44

The board meeting was in full swing as Mr Johnson, the CEO, addressed the members. "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to show you something," he said, his voice commanding the attention of the entire room while Gary, sat patiently, waiting for what Mr Johnson had to show him.

Mr Johnson picked a document from the table, strolled towards Gary, and said. "Mr president, don't you remember signing this? Don't you remember selling your shares?" He tossed the document before Gary.

"Selling his shares?" Everyone was stunned. There were murmurs all around.

"If he has sold his shares then why insist on retaining the seat of the president? This is completely insane and not to be heard of." A co shareholder said.

"I can't believe we actually supported him all this while thinking that he could actually handle things."
