Raphael faced Gary in a rage, all that Gary said never concerned him, he was more prioritized about his sister's dignity which he felt Gary had soiled in the mud.
"Raphael, this isn't about me, it's about your sister here, I keep telling you what she had done, but then you believe I could raise a lie against her. What for? And why would I want to do that? Why would I tell you something vague about her? It's quite impossible;" Gary yelled at the top of his voice, it was driving him crazy to realize that absolutely none of them were willing to believe him in any way.
"Gary, the best thing you could do right now, is leave this place, else I'll make sure I do something you would always live to remember." Raphael yelled at the top of his voice, on the other hand, Gary sighed heavily, he wasn't willing to back down either, this divorce was all he needed to be free.
They had painted him as being weak for quite long enough, but now, not again as before. As such, he kept talking, hoping that as time went on, Raphael would try believing him.
"I do have proof, Raphael," Gary said.
"Your proof holds no water here Gary, just get the hell out of this place and find your level. You aren't fit to be amongst humans. You are such an animal.``
"No Raphael, I really have proof." Gary insisted and pulled out his phone from his pocket showing him videos of the hotel. Gary had gone back to seek for the footage, because he had to bought that stuff like this could happen and like he though, I did happen.
Raphael looked at pictures, his expression growing more and more furious. With his, Gary had though he was finally gaining ground, not until Raphael yelled out.
On the other hand, Sandra was scared, she was beginning to think that Gary had won over her brother with that. Hence, she moved towards him and cried out feigning innocence.
"This isn't me brother, he is definitely telling lies. I would never in my entire life think of soiling the name of my family in the mud all in the name of infidelity." Sandra said amidst tears, and Gary was taken aback, his jaw hanging low, begging to be shut.
"That's a lie Sandra, you are just too deceitful, if this isn't you, then who …"
"Shut the hell up Gary!" Raphael's voice boomed out to Gary's surprise.
"This isn't my sister, my sister would never do such a nasty thing like this. What are you actually trying to prove? And what right do you have to pry on her? Even if you saw her anywhere? You actually do not know the context, you do not know why she was into it or what happened. But this is definitely not my sister ."
Gary's gaze met with Sandra's whose once pretentious tears had transformed into a triumphant smile.
"I thought you would have some difference from every other person Raphael, but this just showed me that you are nothing but a scum like she is, in fact, your entire family is nothing but a home of vipers." Gary could not help it, he voiced angrily.
Raphael moved forward, his fists clenched. "You're a terrible brother-in-law, you know that? You're always causing trouble and stirring up drama!"
Gary felt his own anger rise further at the unfair accusation. "I'm not trying to cause trouble, Raphael. I only want you and everyone to know the kind of daughter you feel you have, but it shocked me that you are in no way different from who she is."
"I don't need your help! We all do not need your help. At least not from a trash being like yourself." Raphael shouted, taking a step towards Gary.
"You're just trying to ruin the family and obviously tarnish my sister's image."
"That's not true," Gary said, standing up to face Raphael. "I have nothing to gain from this. I just want to make sure you know the truth."
Raphael sneered. "You're just jealous because you're not part of our family. You'll never be a good son-in-law."
Gary's jaw tightened. He knew he shouldn't let Raphael's insults get to him, but they stung. "I don't care about being a son-in-law. I care about myself and obviously leaving this damn marriage, because I would never in my entire life submit to getting myself hooked with a lady who finds interest in other men. Not even while I the husband has never touched her."
Raphael raised his hand to slap Gary, but he dodged it.
He instead dashed a heavy blow into Raphael's chest, one of which sent hum sprawling in the ground to the amazement of everyone In the hall.
He had tried to contain the anger, but obviously he just couldn't watch somebody Infuriate him anymore without speaking up.
In the past, his grandfather had made him go through martial art, but those skills were obviously not to be wasted, they weren't for fun. That was another reason why he had knocked Raphael to the ground without pity.
For the very first time in two years, everyone was scared of Gary, they wondered what audacity he suddenly had and what had possessed him to do all of this.
Gary took a step back, his heart racing. He knew he had to leave before things escalated any further .
But then, Raphael just stomped to his feet, blinded by his anger, he couldn't help it, but reached out to his phone calling on some armed men to chase Gary out.
With this, Gary wasn't willing to leave either, he therefore stopped on his tracks, rolled his sleeve ready for the next action to take place.
That moment, he damned all consequences and was clouded by nothing at all other than taking revenge.
"Just wait till you get beaten up." Raphael had said trying to hide his pride.
"We have a man causing nuisance right here." Raphael informed over the phone.
Within minutes, a group of six men entered the hall, all dressed in black uniforms and with martial arts training. They approached Gary, who was be clouded by nothing but anger.
At this point, many people In the hall had begun to smile at the fact that those moments were the last for Gary, unknown to them, they were obviously mistaken.
"You need to leave the premises immediately," said one of the guards, trying to act harshly has they were commanded.
After a while of fruitless queries, one of the guard dashed a punch toward him.
Gary, however, was not willing to go quietly anymore. He dodged the punch and then turned to face the guards, his fists clenched and his eyes wild with anger. Without warning, he charged at the guards with incredible speed, throwing punches and kicks in all directions.
The security guards were caught off guard by Gary's sudden attack, but they quickly regained their composure and launched a counterattack. They attempted to take Gary down with their martial arts moves, but he seemed to be one step ahead of them at every turn. He dodged their attacks and delivered powerful blows of his own, knocking several of the guards to the ground.
Raphael watched in disbelief as Gary took down one guard after another. Despite their martial arts training, the security guards seemed powerless against him. Gary was like a force of nature, unleashing his rage on anyone who dared to stand in his way.
Even the leader of the guard who was more heft ended up with broken bones.
In the end, Gary stood, panting and covered in sweat. The guards lay scattered around him, groaning in pain.
Everyone hence seemed speechless and suddenly became curious, wondering how this man had managed to defeat a team of trained martial artists.
Gary then suddenly turned toward aloft them in anger. "I will be back."
Gary stormed out of the birthday celebration hall, seething with anger. Gary's face was red with fury as he made his way through the crowd, pushing past people who were peeking at him unbelievably. No one could believe what had just happened. Everything was just like in a flash, it happened without expectation. As he reached the door, he turned to face the room, his eyes flashing with anger. "You all can go to hell," he spat, before slamming the door shut behind him.The room fell silent, and then a low murmur began to ripple through the crowd. Gary's outburst had clearly shocked everyone, and they were all staring at each other in confusion."What kind if a son in law is he?""What had gotten into him to this extent that he really had no regard for his elders." None of them had spoken as though they felt for Gary. All had ended up blaming him instead of facing and accepting the core truth. But then, Alora, Sandra's grandmother voiced. "How dare he," she said, her voice trembling wi
After a lot of deliberation, Alora cleared her throat, looking into the decision made was nice, but then something was missing.Which was inviting Gary over. Without that, their plans would definitely be fruitless. As Sandra was on her tracks, she wanted to clear her name, and turned the table around so she would never truly be suspected. Sandra, who had been staring down at her feet, lifted her head and raised her hand.Hence, she walked towards her grandmother and said, "I'll invite Gary over, but then I have a suggestion on how to go about that." Sandra said affirmatively without shame. At that, Alora tilted her gaze. "Wow, that's great. It's good to see the main victim try to take revenge. So let's hear you out Sandra." Alora said confidently with keen interest."I suggest we get him with his interest.""His interest?" Alora was more interested than before."What do you.mean as regards to his Interest? None of us here knows what you mean, if you could just open up, it could actua
Gary had been enduring accusations and insults from his in-laws for quite some time now. They constantly blamed him for not being a good enough son-in-law and made him feel unwelcome in their home. Gary had always tried to be respectful and courteous towards his in-laws, but it seemed like nothing he did was ever enough to please them.Gary's in-laws were particularly harsh towards him. They were insulting him and accusing him of being useless and lazy. He had had enough and decided to stand up for himself. While they argued and Gary tried to insult his wife for inviting him without a vivid reason, everyone noticed a figure walk into the hall, all heads turned towards that direction including Gary. The moment he turned his head, he realized the figure was quite familiar, the moment the figure walked into the line light, he turned out to be Kyle. The guy whom his wife was flirting with at the hotel a few days back.Gary saw this as an opportunity to get his claim, hence he dashed towar
Gary couldn't believe what he had just heard, a glance at Sandra, he could see the joy written all over her face. That day had been hell if humiliation for him, but still he tried all he could just to submerge the pain without letting it take a toll on him.He was obviously burning in revenge but then he was emotionally drained as well. He just wasn't expecting this kind of treatment."Gary, is that too hard for you?" the grandmother said, with a hint of mockery clearly displayed across her lips. "If you aren't okay with it, I could definitely look for some other punishment for you. I'm sure you would love it, like do the house chores of about 10- 20 people here. It's an achievement though," she chuckled loudly after that.Gary looked at her painfully, he wasn't expecting this from the Larsons. Not with how much he sacrificed himself and humbled himself to do their bidding. It was very clear that thru can and would never be satisfied.Gary was still in a slight daze, his heart was too
'Come on, let's go… Be strong!" Brenda Wilson the strange lady said. However, Gary wasn't falling for it this time, he had every reason to doubt her. First of all, she had come out of nowhere, sat beside him and pretended to understand his plight and now she was offering to take him back to where he was coming from. "Never mind, I need to get some other things before heading home, so I guess you should leave first." Gary said with a flat tone. However, Brenda was in no way giving up either, yea! She did seem like she had something up her sleeve but no one knew. "Come on Gary, I feel for you, you absolutely shouldn't face this you currently are facing, let's go make things right." "Who are you? Just tell me who you are!" Gary finally yelled at the top of his voice. "A friend of course," she smiled indifferently. "A friend! How? You don't even know me, you don't know where I come from, you don't know me, so who the hell are you then?" However, Brenda took a few steps forward, sq
Gary walked In with all confidence, he had thought Brenda was really backing him up, a s the fact that he was seen as small and insignificant as his wife's family, and they all berated him, he felt that was just about to change. The last statement caught on their lips the moment he walked in was the fact that Alora finally agreed to the divorce. However the moment he walked in, everyone of them had gone numb. On the other hand, he tried to remain calm and collected, but the insults and jabs of the past were too much to bear."I can't believe you would do something so stupid, and still return here," somebody had said. "You should know better than to disrespect our family like this."However, Gary had thought he won when someone finally recognised the person behind him. "Are you an accomplice now Brenda!"Gary was forced to turn his head around in confusion. "Brenda, what's happening?"Brenda however smiled, in return, she walked forward and said. "Of course Gary. I obviously will nev
The next morning, Gary had breakfast in his grandfather's mansion. It was really the first time in many years he was having such large breakfasts. The previous years had honestly been tough for him.He made his way down the grand staircase, admiring the ornate chandelier that hung above the foyer. As he entered the dining room, he was taken aback by the grandeur of the space. The room was vast and filled with natural light, streaming in from the large windows that overlooked the perfectly manicured gardens outside. The table was laid out with crisp white linen, and there were elaborate flower arrangements placed at regular intervalsNot that alone, but the table was large enough unlike that of the Larson's and that brought back some memories. Where he could vividly remember how badly he was treated when it got to meals.Throughout the time he was married to Sandra, he never in his entire life ate at the dinning, it was either at the kitchen or in his bedroom."If only they knew, they
"Thief!" A voice said out of nowhere and everyone, from Gary to the sales representative was forced to look back."Are you surprised? Of course you are a thief." Gaey couldn't help it, throughout the time he lived with the Larson's he could tell he never took anything that was never placed in his custody instead, they had always been the one picking on him.Sandra's mom would always make sure she collects ten percent from each salary he earned. Now, Raphael was right before him tagging him as a thief."Raphael! I am not a thief and you know that." Gary said with no manner of fear in his voice."You are not a thief! Then how did my clothes constantly go missing? You said you aren't a thief then how the hell does my money disappear? Oh! I know you mean to say that somebody else had taken those money when you were actually the one in charge of laundering. Isn't it?" Raphael increased his pace towards the lobby , while on the other hand, many of the sales representatives who were less bus
