Laura walked down the sterile hospital corridor, her mind racing with curiosity and a slight sense of apprehension. She reached the door marked "Dr. Collins" and gently knocked before entering.

As Laura stepped into the spacious office, she noticed Dr. Collins sitting behind his desk, engrossed in scribbling on a sheet of paper. He looked up and met her gaze with a warm smile.

"Ah, Laura, please come in," Dr. Collins said, gesturing towards a chair on the other side of his desk. "Have a seat, won't you?"

Laura gratefully accepted the offer, settling into the chair, but her nerves intensified as she realised that this meeting held a more serious purpose than she had initially assumed.

Taking a deep breath, Laura finally broke the silence. "Dr. Collins, may I ask why you requested to see me? Is there something wrong?"
