Chapter 3

"Come with me and I will make you a goddess amongst mortals."

Danny Allen immediately added, his voice was laced with a mixture of authority and determination.

Kim Morris immediately gazed at him, she immediately recalled that she had heard this voice before but couldn't recall when and where.

"Jefferson, get the van now!"

Danny Allen's voice was a bit above whispers.

Now outside, Danny Allen immediately helped Kim Morris enter the military grade van and he also gets in too.

"Jefferson, take us to the Leopard's vault."

Danny Allen's voice was laced with a mixture of determination and care and he held Kim Morris closely to himself.

"Gen, I mean sir, which one are you talking about?"

"Is it the one in the western district or the other one?"

Jefferson's voice was laced with a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

"Jefferson, take us to the real Leopard vault, I have to help my Kim Morris recover as soon as possible."

Danny Allen's voice was laced with determination as Jefferson zoomed off immediately.

Now at the gate of the Leopards vault, a wonderful edifice stood tall.

The gate was made of forged anti-ballistic glass and the building was a wonder to behold.

Entering inside the main compound of the beautiful mansion, Danny Allen immediately carried Kim Morris to one of the rooms.

"Jefferson, call me Doctor Philip immediately!"

Danny Allen's voice was laced with authority and determination.

"General, Doctor Philip is not available at the moment, he embarked on a secret mission with some of the soldiers to the Pacific and I'm not sure he will be back anytime soon."

Jefferson's voice was barely above whispers as he whispered into the ears of Danny Allen.

Kim Morris was now seated in one of the sofas, her body was badly burnt from that incident, she stared askance at Danny Allen as Jefferson whispered into his ear.

Kim Morris couldn't quite get herself to gaze into the eyes of her new husband.

'Why did he even pay such a huge amount of money just to marry me?'

Kim Morris's thoughts raced vehemently as she bent her head in shame and despair.

Images of the exact event that had led to her body getting badly burnt reeled through her mind almost immediately.

Tears started welling down her eyes slowly and hitting the cold Italian tiles beneath her.

"Okay Jefferson, that wouldn't be an issue, just bring me all the medicines on this list."

Danny Allen's voice was laced with a mixture of determination and reassurance as he produced a list from his shirt pocket and handed it over to Jefferson.

"I need these items available in the next fifteen minutes."

"No problem Sir, I will get them ready immediately."

Jefferson's voice was laced with reassurance as he went away to get the medications on the list.

Walking over to Kim Morris who was still tearing profusely, Danny Allen immediately held her closely.

"Kim, don't worry, everything will be fine before you know it."

"Do you believe that you can still be the beautiful girl that you used to be?"

Danny Allen asked as he held and slowly massaged Kim Morris's palm.

Kim Morris only stared at him and immediately took her face down to the floor and continued with her profuse sobbing.

The ground was now covered in tears, Kim Morris also had the blue light gown that she wore soaked up in tears.

"Kim, you are in safe hands now, you just need to undergo this special and rare rejuvenation medication that I will prepare for you."

"In the next fifteen days, I promise you, you won't recognize yourself again!"

Danny Allen's voice was a bit above whispers as he moved his hands across the face of Kim Morris, the fire burn had entered stage three and was now degenerating her cellular tissues.

"That's…that's what all the physicians that my grandfather hired promised…but…but they ended up even making my case worse."

Kim Morris' voice was mellifluous as she spoke, this was the first time she was talking to Danny Allen after the auction.

"It will be alright Kim, I promise with my life!"

"I will do whatever it takes to fix you up, and that is exactly what I will do!"

Danny Allen's voice was laced with determination and reassurance as he moved and pecked the forehead of Kim Morris.

Just then, Jefferson immediately returned with the items, Danny Allen took them and began the rejuvenation medication sequence.

The rejuvenation medication sequence preparation was a complicated one, but rare medicine was one of the skills that Danny Allen had learnt from his master during his days as a junior cadet at Phoenix Elite Forces.

Danny Allen turned and mixed some of the rare herbs, opening a little briefcase, he took out something that looked like mandrake roots and added everything to the mix.

With Jefferson helping him, they lifted the heavy crucible and emptied all the contents into a rejuvenation tank that had a blue fluid and was bubbling.

"Jefferson, off you go, it's time for my wife to get into the rejuvenation tank."

Danny Allen's voice was laced with command as Jefferson immediately left and shut the door behind him.

Slowly Danny Allen walked up to Kim Morris and held her hands.

Slowly undressing his wife, he helped her walk into the bubbling rejuvenation tank.

"Kim, I really love you and this will be over sooner than you can imagine."

Danny Allen's voice was laced with reassurance and hope as he stared at Kim Morris who still had tears in her eyes as she nodded slowly and took a deep breath.

Danny Allen immediately initiated the rejuvenation sequence.

The process was a combination of medicine and high technology.

Walking over to Kim Morris who was now in the rejuvenation tank as if she was in a coma, Danny Allen held the glass and said, "All it will take is fifteen days and you will be back to normal."

His face was etched with expression as he walked out of the room and off all the lights.

Apparently, the rejuvenation medication sequence needed a dark environment to be properly done, it was a delicate process of enzyme technology.

The next fifteen days passed almost immediately.

Danny Allen returned and moments later, Kim Morris was standing in front of an oval wall mirror in one of the rooms in the Leopards vault.

"This is impossible… How…how did you do it?"

Kim Morris's voice was laced with exhilaration and happiness as she stared at herself in the mirror.

"All…all my burns…they are gone!"
