The seamless voice of a man resounded replaying the mechanized voice.
<Confirming character appearance.... done>
A man who seemed to be in his late 20s with dark brown hair, light blue eyes which were filled with excitement and expectation, appeared in a white room with nothing but undergarments.
He was about 5'8 foot tall, quite good-looking, not to the extent of making women fall head over heels for him but his appearance can be judged as slightly better than average.

As to what he was doing now, it's a long story let's take our time catching up.

-Michael Maran-
Hailed as one of the brightest minds of the 21st century, an engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, for his ground-breaking advancements within his field.
In 2036, he proposed a thesis titled 'The Living Robot', a robot that could do almost anything a person could do, if not better, and continuously evolve while observing its surroundings.
The field of robotics made a huge breakthrough using his thesis and soon he was contacted by a big corporation named 'Silver Automation' to bring his theory to life. They made a contract with him and heavily funded his research.
He worked with burning passion and shed his blood and tears for five years until, finally, when his dream was just at a hair's breadth away, disaster struck!
The company that had funded his dreams and had supported him till now filed a class-action case on him, claiming he had committed a contract breach and as compensation, they demanded a huge monitory fine.
Michael, who had always been focused on his research, didn't have much to his name which led him to lose his rights and ownership of his research and to his dream project, all to 'Silver Automation'.
Now as a broken, penniless man, listlessly gazing into the sky, with nothing to his name, Michael contemplated what he could do in his situation?
At first, he thought that as famous as he is, He could easily get a job in another company to make living but he was terribly wrong, not a single company came to him, even the interviews he attended rejected him just hearing his name, he didn't know what was happening? was someone trying to ruin him? he didn't know.
That's when he thought about the infinite lucrative possibilities related to a game released a year ago called 'Genesis', a VRMMORPG which created huge waves across the globe, developed by the players in the world itself. With his passion was now reignited, thinking that if it's so life-like, maybe he could complete his dreams in the game.
"So what if I can't achieve my dreams in real life, I just have to reach it in Virtuality"
and that's how our Engineer, who although didn't have a job was lying down on a VR capsule with a beautiful design of 'Genesis' on it.
'Genesis' is famous for the fact that players can enjoy full immersive gameplay and real-life-like experience, with NPCs being able to communicate with the players and almost as if they could feel emotions.
It has now been a year since its release, though in the beginning, everyone thought of 'Genesis' as a typical RPG game later they realized its unique features and it quickly becomes famous acquiring a total of 1 billion players base worldwide still increasing by the day.
Many people were even making a living due to in-game currency exchange with real-world money.
and as a penniless man, this feature itself is enough for our Jobless Engineer to buy a VR capsule which cost about five thousand dollars!
All he was left after buying the capsule was 10000$ and a small house in the countryside that he inherited from his father. He decided to earn money somehow and start his research in the game, since everyone was praising it as a second reality, it would be possible, right?
Michael wouldn't have pondered this much if he was alone, he could somehow manage with the money he had while doing some odd jobs but now, there was a 'Family' depending on him.
At least to feed them he had to make some money. Of course he could always work as a freelancer, and corns some notes to keep their stomachs full.
But then his dreams would forever remain as dreams only, that was the reason he choose ‘Genesis’
So before starting the game, he wanted to gather some knowledge about the world of 'Genesis', so he opened the official form as he browsed through various information, on which a certain notice which was made three months before caught his eye,

"There is even a class like this"
Michael cried out of surprise seeing the class descriptions.
His exhausted determination and passion ignited again, His eyes sparkled at the description of the class.
"With this, I could, just may be able to achieve my dream"
He looked towards the side of the table where neatly organized sheets and drawings were laid on top of which was labeled,
"The Living Robot"
"I will definitely complete you this time", He smiled seeing the paper as if he was seeing his beloved child,
he scrolled down further as he looked towards reviews,
-> what is with this class? there are no fighting skills?
->Forget about skills, the initial stats are like a glass container everything concentrated on intelligence and dexterity, one hit from even the lv.1 monster is certain death.
-> I choose the class seeing that this looked cool, but now why is this so hard to grind with this class?
-> But it says we can steampunk machines and magic technology?
-> that'd the story when you manage to complete the class quests and let me tell you not a single person has completed the class quest yet, it requires them to make some sci-equipments like guns or bombs without any blueprint to advance to the next quest.
-> Damn, I choose this class and now I have to wait one week to create a new account.
-> I already died 3 times to an lv.5 wolf being lv.5 myself, there are not even basic skills like weapon mastery.
"Huh?", There were only negative reviews about the class in the forum almost as if the developers had made a mistake creating this class, but Michael was not concerned about it at all.
"Why the hell is everyone talking about fighting?? Why would an engineer have to fight?"
'....'
Yep, Though a genius engineer, he was a complete noob to games.

Mike appeared in a white room...was that a room, there was no walls any roof except the floor he was standing on everything else just seemed endless,Various panels started to hover all around him like a video clip, there were images of people smiling happily, children running around full of innocent smiles...The panel containing the peaceful images of people and happily running children were shattered as new panels of the various demon race attacking and killing people came into his view...The rampage of demons massacring the people, the tears of the victims, and the pain of the wounded were deciphered in the images.
After sweet-talking the kid for about fifteen minutes, the kid finally gave in as he agreed to take Mike to his house.“Fine I guess will show you my house since you are begging me this much”In return Mike helped him to carry water to the house where he was working, after which both Mike and the kid walked towards his home.“Who do you live with kid"“I am not a kid”“ah!... ah…well, Max, who do you live with?”“In my house, there is my sister who is 8 this year and my young brother who is 9 and there is also our youngest who is 6 and as I said I am the Oldest in the house”He said pointing at himself as if he was proud of it.“Where are your parents?”. Kyle asked with curiosity as the kid didn’t mention anything about them. The face of the kid paled as he looked down with a sad look.“They said that Father and mother died while fighting against the Demons”“Ah...! I am sorry”, Mike apologized as he felt bad for asking something like this to the kid.He himself had experienced how it
“What...?”The 11 saints of the Beginning. They were the ones on whom the whole game’s main story was based on.currently, there is no known descendent or anyone with class related to them.It can only be considered as Luck for Kyle to encounter a quest such as this on the first day of starting the game.If this isn't what you call Luck, they what is? he met some random kid, talked with him, and gave him a health potion. How can such a thing trigger class change to one of the 11 main classes? But the replay he gave was equally bizarre too,“What Saint, does it help me build a robot?”Mike asked back the system.[...]Of course there was no replay. But Mike could more or less guess what the class would do seeing the word ‘Saint’ in it.“I don’t want to become a saint or whatever, I just want to build my Robot”He refused to c
Mike looked around the Workshop like a child in the toy store, he was too excited to see the medieval type machines lying all around. he recognized many of the machines present as he named them one after the other.Screwdriver Set made of Iron.Hammer with an iron head and wood hand.Tape Measure made of cloth.Pliers.Utility Knives and Extra Blades.Adjustable Wrenches with were made of wood.Level.Straight edge.Square.flashlight with some kind of blue stone attached to it.file.Mechanical googles.A weird-looking power drill.Circular saw.metal pieces.clamps.pry bar.a bunch of wire.gears.wire cutter."Whaoooo.....", all of them were basic tools but he was beyond happy seeing all these tools after his three months of being fired. And every time he recognized a tool he also got a system message saying.
Mike was someone who always tried to think out of the box, he always challenged the impossible and did the unthinkable.Every time he encountered a wall, his excitement only increased by thinking about the ways to counter it. He didn't become famous just by luck, his countless experiments, models, theories...He was someone who had extreme patience and determination.....even to the extent of creating a useless ass scrubber by waking up day and night just because it was interesting. But right now~"F*ck! why the hell did this pipe have so many holes?"He was getting frustrated by seeing the items that he was provided to do something 'useful'. The three-inch pipe that he took from the pile of items had numerous large holes in it and it didn't seem to be damaged due to some experiments but rather looked like some hor*y pervert's work."and what is with this chain?"The rusty chain was so docile that if he just pulled it a bit from both ends it would snap into pieces! Each and every item w
Mike took the paper and pencil from the Old man and started to do a rough sketch of the hand pump. first, he drew two sides of a well and a long iron pipe at one side of the well from which the water will be drawn. and at the upper open end of the well, there was a handle for pumping. Inside the Iron pipe, he drew a circular plate-like thing that will be made of iron, and above it will be a layer of rubber with a check valve. it is drawn in such a way to explain that it will open when the handle of the pump is pushed downward and closes when it is pulled up. A similar check valve is added at the middle of the pipe so that water can only enter from outside and should never go out from inside. and on the upper end of the pipe, a gear is fixed with the piston chain to create pressure and pull up the water. He finished the drawing by sketching the head of the pump which covered the gear and a water outlet just below the handle. As soon as he finished the sketch numerous systems inva
Mike got busy with the work as soon as he entered the workshop! He entrusted the making of iron pipe to the Oldman, even though he seemed like a carpenter from the outside, he felt like he should be able to handle that.He just told him about the requirements of the pipe, to be about 4 inches wide and 10 meters long."That's quite a big one but I guess we need that much since its a well we are talking about"The oldman got to work with a complaint and he even seemed to be oddly in good mood may because he was thinking about money.Mike also didn't waste any time and started to make the remaining parts. The first thing he started was Check-Valve.It was the main component in the pump that ensured that the drawn water doesn't get back to the well again. He first took a big round iron disk that would fit inside the Iron pipe perfectly and drew a circle on it.He cut the iron along the circle and made the same with a rubber disk just that the radius of the rubber was rather larger and it
All the work related to the hand pump was completed and all that was left was the inauguration ceremony from when It would be officially in use, and it seemed like his quest would also be completed when the announcement is made. Every player was only allowed to play 15 hours a day in real-time considering that players wouldn't play the game excessively ignoring real life. There was still a lot of time before his log-out period would end. Mike had only played for 8 hours in real life which was equivalent to a day in-game, which meant that he still had another 7 hours till he would be forcefully logged out. "Well then, Shall we go hunting in meantime" He was oddly excited as it was his first time playing a game in a VR, the last time he remembered playing a game was on PC, so everything felt new and interesting. Mike was imagining just how it would feel to fight in VR. Of course, he had tried various technologies when he was a great figure but nothing he had seen was anywhere clos
It was a complete unwelcoming quest! Was it because Mike didn't like the rewards? Hell no! 500 gold was worth a thousand dollars in real life if he converted it into real cash, Which was close to a month's salary if working at the construction site. Yet the best thing actually was the hidden class, 'Originator' which was ideal for him who was thinking of changing from his unknown class. Not to mention the title 'Renowned Alchemist'. Which would boost all his stats by+10! Mike currently had eight stats in total: strength, intelligence, dexterity, constitution, indomitable, composure, and Insight. If he added the 'Creativity' stat, that would equal Eight in total. If all of the stats were given a bonus of 10 points, it would be a total of 80 stat points. He obtain 10 stat points every time he level up so it was equivalent to eight levels, eight levels may seem small at present but in the later stage of the game, it was going to give him an edge over other players. ‘What happened at that time was something that someone among my the Taylor siblings did.’ As Vincent Taylor confirmed, there is no doubt about it. In such a situation, he has nothing to worry about his siblings as Teressa said that she would take responsibility and make it so that there would be no eyes on him for about a year. Of course, unexpected threats can suddenly emerge somewhere. Just like the downtown incident a while ago. Then, should he move with all these situations in mind? Of course, that’s right. However, being cautious and hiding like a coward are completely different things. ‘Just because you have that in mind, you can’t just sit and crouch down inside the room.’ Anyway, Roger has to grow. The further he goes and the stronger he becomes, the more naturally he will be free from these threats. ‘I can’t help it until then.’ Therefore, the path he chose was to catch more and more people’s eyes. ‘Star disease? Attention seeker? Anything’s good. I need it anywa

Mike, who was swarmed by the system notifications, had a bewildered expression on his face.It has been a year since the Virtual reality game 'Genesis' has been released and many types of classes and professions were known by the public. There were different tires among the class system. The class that most users get at the end of the tutorial quest was a normal one.Above it was a Rare grade that can be obtained by doing certain quests or achieving some titles.Above the rare grade was Epic, which has been reported to be obtained by more than a hundred people currently. The unique tire is the one that is above Epic and the most powerful classes that have been known till now. Currently, only five people have managed to obtain it.and there was even information about the 11 legendary classes, which no one had discovered or obtained till now.But what about 'Growth' type? What does it mean? Is it good? Can this class grow to legendary? various questions were swarming his head.At the mo
Shigeru Miyamoto was the core of the team of 41 scientists who built the virtual reality system and was the person who led the development of Genesis by establishing the New Era Group. He had many titles: the creator of the virtual reality system, the person who changed the world, the father of Genesis, the wealthiest man in the nation, one of the most influential figures in the world, and many more. His countless titles meant that he received the spotlight every time he attended international events, and his influence transcended the American president, making him the world's envy.Yet in fact, his life wasn't as flashy as discussed in the media. He was the head of Genesis's development team as well as head of the New Era Group, so he slept less than four hours a day on average. Despite all that, was he unhappy? No, it was something he wanted for himself. "When passion becomes a profession, the World will look small to rule", That was what he said in one of his interviews.Shigeru M
Mike who shut himself in the Workshop for more than an hour in-game came out noticing the inauguration is going to start. The first death penalty which decreased his movement speed by 50% for two hours was still in effect.Players were only allowed to play the game for 15 hours a day on which only one death was allowed, and after the first death, the user would be penalized with a huge 50% decrease in movement speed for two hours after the resurrection and if they die a second time, the person wouldn't be able to log in to the game for the next 12 hours in a real-time, which was quite a harsh penalty, since a day in real life would mean three days in Genesis, it would mean restriction for one and half days in-game.Currently, Mike with his measly 3 points in dexterity along with the -50% speed penalty, was slow as a turtle. But even then, during the time he was in the Workshop he was analyzing the different machines there. It didn't give him exp or anything, but it was oddly satisfyi
