Chapter 204

Alex enjoyed Andres company. The young man did not talk much and he allowed him to sit in silence and think about the thought that passed through his head.

He had a lot of them today and somehow, he knew that he would have to sort through each and every one of them by himself without any sort of help. He knew better than to dwell on his thoughts though. He understood that the more he dwelt on them, the harder it was for him to differentiate between reality and what was fake.

"Should I put on some music sir?" Andres asked after a while of sitting in silence.

Alex did not understand how the man could get him so much and yet they never had any proper conversations.

Or at least, they did not talk as much as he did with his friends. At that point, he had to give it to him. The man knew his work very well. He understood what his assignment was and he stuck to doing just that. He could not doubt his professional behaviour and his knowledge anymore.
