Eleanor answered the call with a polite "hello." On the other end, Ruben reciprocated, "Hello, ma'am. How are you doing?" Eleanor, injecting a hint of humor into her response, quipped, "You mean your in-law?" Ruben, catching on to the change in dynamics, chuckled nervously, "Uh, yeah. How do you mean?" Eleanor wasted no time in delivering the news, her satisfaction evident, "Alex and Isabella just signed the papers, and the leach is out of here."

Ruben's disbelief echoed through the phone, "Oh wow, this is unbelievable." Eleanor, reveling in the triumph, asserted, "You better believe it."
