When Stacy finally gets that call from Gray that he is finally coming home, she is so happy that she bakes a cake for him. She is happy to see him again, even though he has been away from her for like a day, she misses her dear husband so very much. Also, she is afraid that he is going to come back home and chastise her for letting her guard down and going shopping with Wendy. Surely, Alice told him what happened. She waits for him in the kitchen and when she sees the taxi pull up in front of the house, she jumps up happily and picks up the cake before rushing to the door. “Welcome home, dear husband! Welcome home, dear husband!” She sings as he comes through the door. Gray smiles as soon as he sees her. He leans in for a kiss. “Oh, Stacy, I was barely away for a day!” “That doesn't mean that I don't miss my husband!” She grins. He ropes his hands around her waist. The door opens wider and William comes into the house with the bag that he hurriedly packed when they were coming.
This is not Stacy being entitled, no, this is about her thinking that maybe because they're work for the anonymous trillionaire, that they would get even the lowest grade ticket that see the party. Wendy hears her silent and immediately smirks with enjoyment. “You haven't gotten your tickets, have you?” She asks. “Well, no,” Stacy answers. “Gray just came back from his trip and we have discussed it yet, but we haven't gotten any ticket.”“Oh, don't even try to lie to me right now. If he had the tickets, you would have told me already!” Wendy hiss. “Gray hasn't changed. He is still the poor idiot that I divorced. How do you feel wallowing in my leftover?” Stacy sighs with sadness she hates when Wendy talks down on Gray like this. “Can you not say stuff like this about him, please?” Stacy begs. “Gray is working very hard and he is trying his best. You don't know this, but he is gathering some money to buy a small house very soon.” Wendy snorts with disbelief. “A house? Gray can't
Stacy screams with excitement. She rushes upstairs into their bedroom and there it is, the most beautiful dress that she has ever laid her eyes on. Her face suddenly freeze with fear and she start to shake. She was reading a fashion magazine days ago and she saw a red dress that was encrusted with beautiful stones. She loved the dress so much that she went online to check the price, but her throat went dry when she saw the price. So she sat back down and admired the picture in the magazine and then drew small hearts around the dress. She concluded in her heart that she would never be able to get the dress. Now the dress is sitting on the bed! “Please, please, please, tell me that this is a dream!” She jumps as she grabs his hand. “I really hope you like this colour. Because we are supposed to leave in less than thirty minutes and I will have to order another color–” “Are you kidding me?” She laughs. “This is the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen in my life!” Gray smiles, h
Stacy is so happy and excited that she can't stop smiling. She looks out of the window, grinning and tapping her feet to a beat. “Wendy was mocking me and told me that she got the tickets and we weren't invited.” She laughs. “But I know that the anonymous trillionaire won't be so heartless to us. You worked so hard for him, so why won't he give you even the lowest level tickets?” She looks at Gray, seeing that he is not smiling or laughing with her, that's when it dawns on her with doom. “Wait, you don't have the tickets.” She clutches her chest. “The anonymous trillionaire hasn't assigned anyone to us.” Gray mutters. “But don't worry, maybe we can get something when we get there…” Stacy drops her head into her hands. She almost bursts into tears, but she finds herself. “There is no way that we will be allowed in there.” She sighs. “We are going to be kicked out and we will be the laughing stock of the party.” William pities her as he looks at her through the window.“Mrs Lanc
“What?!” Wendy looks horrified. “What do you mean that their tickets are of a higher level than ours?! Do you know who we are?!” “Miss, I don't make the rules, I am just following orders.” The security says. “They are cleared to go to the VIP section of the party, and you can't do anything about it.” Wendy and Mateo are greatly offended by this. They immediately start to make a scene with the security, while Stacy, Gray, and William watch. “Do you know who I am?! I have been friends with the anonymous trillionaire for years! He is going to be here today and I am going to tell him about this! Bet, by tomorrow, you won't have a job!” Mateo rants. Stacy hasn't recovered from the shock of them having the highest level tickets, so Gray puts his hand over her shoulder and leads her in. “Ho– how did we even get the highest level tickets?” She wonders. “Mateo and Wendy are direct associates of the anonymous trillionaire, but he didn't even give that to them.” “The anonymous trillionair
Stacy is so nervous that she is grabbing another glass of wine to pour down her throat, but that's when Gray puts a gentle hand on her shoulder. “Could you excuse us for a quick minute, Stacy?” Gray asks. “We have to go to the bathroom.” “What? Both of you? At the same time? You both can't leave me here! I don't even know any of these rich people!” “We are going to be back in like five minutes.” Gray says. “Of course you will be fine till then.” “What will happen if the anonymous trillionaire comes up to me when you are gone? How are we supposed to thank him together?” He smiles at her cute panic. “Don't worry, you will be fine. Just enjoy your glass of wine and we will be back before you know it.” She sighs and agrees for them to go, even when she knows that she has social anxiety and would prefer not to be left alone with people she doesn't know. Gray and William head out and immediately they are out, they take off their masks. “Tell me, how did you get such a good woman lik
William feels as if the breath in his lungs has suddenly been snatched from his lungs. The people who killed his father are going to be at the party today! His hands turn into fists and Gray immediately notices this. “It's too early to start to avenge your father now.” Gray warns him. “If you strike too early, everything that we have worked for is going to be in vain.” “I will kill him myself before I allow him to ruin that for her.” Alice snarls. Gray takes the suit from her, together with the shoes and the mask. He will change, so that when he walks into the room, no one will notice that he is the same person. The mask has also been specially designed to keep his face hidden from those who he wants to keep in the dark about his identity. “Call me when I'm ready, for now…” Gray looks from Alice and William. “Get familiar with yourself, because from now on, both of you will work together.” Gray leaves the room and Alice sighs as she takes out her phone and aggressively starts t
Gray has been looking forwards to meeting another member of the De Nicola Mafia, and that day is finally here. Dawson smiles as he offers Gray a respectful smile and a handshake. “Mister anonymous! I have been looking forward to the day that I will meet you!” He says. “I bring you greeting from the entire De Nicola family.” “The pleasure is mine, Mister Burke.” He says. “Hope you are enjoying the party?” “Yes, I am, sir.” He says. “I was hoping to have a meeting with you today. The de Nicola family has asked me to bring in some business suggestions for you, and we can both work on it for the benefit of both of us.” “I like the sound of that, Mister Burke. Why don't you speak to my assinat and then maybe we can set something up?” Gray asks. “Have a nice day.” “Sir the son of my boss, Mateo De Nicola, he told his father that he is your friend and have met with him a few times.” Gray stops and shakes his head. “That name doesn't ring a single bell to him, but I look forward to mee
“There she is, the stupid girl, Stacy. She doesn't know what we have in plan for her today.” Dan chuckles. He expects Wendy to laugh in agreement, but she is so engrossed in looking at Stacy's necklace that she didn't hear him. “Keep everyone entertained, Dan, I need to go and speak to Stacy.”“About what?” “Just do what I asked you, Dan, stop asking too many questions.” She snaps at him. She puts on a smile on her face and waves at the guests as she stylishly walks to the Lances’ table. Stacy immediately tensed up as soon as she sees Wendy. She hardly gets good vibes from her cousin, so she is freaked out by the smile on her face. “Hey, Stacy! Gray! What's up?” Wendy causally says. “Hi, Wendy.” Stacy says. “You look very beautiful in that dress.” “Well,.duh. I can't come in here looking like a hobo, it's my grandfather's remembrance party. He has always liked the stylish side of me.” Gray doesn't say a word. Unlike Stacy, who is still so forgiving to her family, Gray knows
Stacy puts on the expensive dress that her husband bought for her. She looks at herself in the mirror and she smiles at the beauty that looks back at her. Gray comes into the room. He stops at the door and smiles at her. “Wow, my wife is the most beautiful woman in the world.” Stacy giggles. He comes over to her and puts a necklace over her neck. From looking at it, she can tell that it's very expensive. She raises her head, about to ask Gray where he got the money to buy such an expensive gift, but he beats her to it, and with a smile. “The anonymous trillionaire, his wife, was kind enough to give me some of her old jewelry.” Stacy's eyes widens, but not because of how expensive the necklace is. “The anonymous trillionaire has a wife?!” She is stunned. “Yes,” Gray nods. “She is like the sweetest person too.” “You've met her too? That's not fair!” She pouts. “How I wish I could thank her? She should know that she married the kindest man in the world.” “Don't worry, S
The day finally comes for the late Mister Blanchard’s remembrance auction party, but Wendy has other plans for her. Aren't trying her best to make sure that Stacy doesn't make it to the party, but Stacy got the five million entry fee. That doesn't change anything for her. She still won't put Stacy's name into the program, and she knows that is going to devastated Stacy more than anything. Also, she has made a well crafted plan to disgrace Stacy on the special day, and she has called all the biggest media houses in the city, and she told them that the party is going to be the most talked about thing tomorrow. They are at the event center, making sure that everything is going the way it's supposed to. They really want this to be the talk of the city. “I can't believe that church rat, Stacy, is going to come!” Dan hisses. “Why can't she just go away?!” “Maybe we should have killed her, maybe that would make her go away forever.” Mrs Blanchard hiss. “I hate to see her stupid face.”
Stacy did not expect for him to say yes, and so easily, she couldn't believe her ears. “Are you sure, Gray?” She chuckles nervously. “It's five million dollars, that's a lot of money.” “A whole lot of money, but not for you.” He says. “Now, do you want it in cash or cheque? William can drive very quickly, he will go to the bank and get it for you–” Stacy throws herself against him sobbing as she hugs him very tightly. Where has he been all her life? She has suffered so much and many times, he fell into depression. He would have saved her so much pain. “Thank you, Gray.” She sobs. “You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Because of you, I can attend my grandfather's remembrance party.”Gray is surprised by her hug, but he chuckles and hugs her back. “I told you already, Stacy, you're my wife and you deserve everything. Now, wipe your tears. I will attend your grandfather's remembrance party with you.” “You will?” Her eyes widen. “I will stand with you as you remem
Stacy is woken up by a phone call the next morning. Gray is not in bed with her, he slept in his study because he said that he has a lot of work. She keeps running her hands over her eyes, she can't believe what's happening. The person that is calling her is no other than Ms Pam Sanford. Pam Sanford is the name of her grandfather's personal assistant from years ago. The last time she saw Pam was when her grandfather died and the entire family had to come together for his burial. She jumps out of the bed and happily picks up the call. She can't believe that it's Pam! “Oh my God, Ms Pam!” Stacy shrieks. “Oh my sweet darling child!” Pam is so pleased. “How are you doing, Stacy?” “I am fine, Ms Pam, How are you?” she asks.“Fine, my darling. I have been living in the countryside all these years, but I am in the city because guess what?! It's the sixth anniversary of your grandfather's death!” Stacy's hand immediately goes to her chest and her eyes are immediately filled with tear
Just before two hours is done, they are done with the meeting. Gray is more than pleased with himself, he will now head back home to his wife. He glances at his wrist watch as he gets into the car and they start to drive back to the airport. “That was very quick, sir.” William smiles. “I was very time conscious. I can't break my promise to Stacy.” “She texted me because she wanted to know if I have any food that I don't care for. It looks like she is making the biggest meal.” Gray smiles and shakes his head. “That's Stacy, she is always taking care of everyone.” They are driving past the protest and Gray looks at the people with concern. He remembers being their savior, the savior that everyone thinks has gone missing, but he is going to save them. Without even showing his identity he will stand up and save them from the terrible president that is ruling them now. They come to a store and Gray asks them to stop. He goes into the shop and decides to buy something for his wif
Even the Generals are dumbfounded. They are so used to the Mars doing everything for them, that they don't even know how to strategize anymore. “That's a very good plan, sir.” The Generals look at each other and nod. “Bunch of morons! I give you many bonuses and you can't even come up with a good plan?!” The president shouts at them. “Stressing the richest man in the world to come up with a strategy for us?!” “Sorry, your Excellency.” They all bow. He turns to Gray and forces himself to smile. “Don't be angry, Mister Lance, were you in any way, in the army before this?” He asks. Gray just smiles. “I’ve shot a hunting gun a few times, if that counts as anything.” The president laughs again. This time around, he gestures for the soldiers to guard them as he starts to walk with Gray. He is done with the Generals, he wants to have a secret meeting with Gray now as they walk out of the room, and around the house. William follows him too, walking ahead of the soldiers. He will ref
They are all laughing now, Gray laughs with them so much that they think that they have finally turned the anonymous trillionaire into their friend. William is standing behind Gray, looking back and forth in an alert manner. He has never seen a room full of more scary men. These were the men that killed his father, together with this psychopath that is running this nation. “So, you took care of him, the man that is supposed to be the greatest General in the army?” Gray asks. “Yes!” The president brags. “I killed him with my own tactics, and he fell right into my trap because he is not as smart as he thinks he is!” The Generals nod in agreement. They were all jealous of the Mars and all his prowess, so they allowed the president to use them to kill him. “Well, sounds like he had to be taken care of so I am glad for that. Now, can we move to the next topic?” Gray smiles. “Yes, yes, yes…” the president nods. “We need those weapons immediately because as you can see, these little
Each time that Gray thinks that the government has shown him enough incompetence, they show him even a worst display of their stupidity! This is the same man that announced that they should go to war against the country of Deholt, the country that is known to have one of the best military in the world! If Mars was still in the army, it would have been as easy as breaking a thin twing, but now that the Mars is missing, Deholt is going to finish them off in one battle! The president, the stupid coward of a man, he angered the citizens and he has now run to hide in the basement of his mansion? He has never heard something more silly in his life! “Mister Lance, please don't think that the basement sanctuary is just a poorly dug hole in the ground, it's a very luxurious place.” The soldiers assure Gray. “I have only two hours to spend here and I am returning back to Silverview.” Gray glances at his wrist watch. “Take me to the president, right now.” They all get into the elevator and
