OFF TO A NEW PLACE

Jack drove straight to the house and parked in front of it.

He got down from the car without taking anything from it.

Jane met him at the door.

“ Welcome back,” Jane said as she hugged him.

The hug took Jack by surprise as he wondered what he had done to warrant the hug.

That was the least thing he had expected to be greeted with.

He lost consciousness for a second as Jane hugged him

“ Are you okay?” Jane asked with a smile.

“ Yes, I am . I am very okay. Are you done with what I told you?” Jack asked with a nod and a raised eyebrow.

“ Yes, I did it. I am ready” Jane replied as she led the way back inside the room.

“ Okay then. I think we should move now” Jack said as he loosened his neck tie a bit.

“ Not so fast, dear. I cooked something. You just came back from work and you should eat something before you do anything else..” Jane said.

“ Well. I am kinda hungry, but I think I can handle it till we get to the new apartment, so let's go.” Jack said and smiled.
