Emma looked at him with surprise. What was really going on with Nagid? She wondered why he was acting strangely, unlike the Nagid she had always known. Was he playing a game or trying to get more attention? If that was his intention, he was doing a good job because she really wanted the old Nagid back.

Before she could think any further, she noticed a smile on his face. It seemed like what he had just shown was merely an illusion. Was he playing tricks on her?

"Emma, did you hear what I said?" he asked.

"What are you talking about?" Emma asked, confused.

"I said, please tell the maids to prepare me some noodles with lots of greens. I've been craving them for some time now," he explained.

"Oh, okay. I will personally take care of that for you," she responded with a smile.

She couldn't understand what was happening at that moment. One minute he would be sweet, and the next minute he would turn cold. Was this some kind of joke?

No, she had to get to the bottom of this. "Is everything okay
