Chapter 19 : Anna’s indifference

In the outskirts of the city, a man lay with his head in a woman's lap while she gently ran her fingers through his hair. He reveled in the heavenly treatment he received from this beautiful woman, who never complained or demanded too much. She only sought to please him, unlike his nagging and complaining wife.

"You are the best thing that's ever happened to me," Tony said with his eyes closed. His mistress, Tina, was the only woman who made him feel carefree.

"I only want the best for you, and I would do anything to keep it that way," Tina replied with a smile.

"That's what makes me love you even more," Tony said, his heart filled with affection.

Tina smiled back at Tony without saying a word. He had always admired her calmness and poise. She rarely got angry and always looked at the bigger picture, unlike his wife at home, whose sole purpose seemed to be making his already stressful days even more burdensome.
