Chapter 20 : A goddess
Anna parked her car furiously in front of the bank. She couldn't believe the way Bella had been treated. It was unacceptable, and she wasn't going to let it slide. No one could make her friend suffer like this.

As Anna entered the bank, she noticed a person talking to one of the bank managers. He seemed familiar, but she couldn't place where she knew him from. Not wanting to dwell on it too much, she brushed it off. After all, she had only seen the person from behind and couldn't see his face clearly.

Nagid glanced back and saw that no one he recognized was around. The stare had disappeared along with the person.

"Mr. Nagid," the bank manager called out, bringing him back to reality.

"I said the statement would be sent soon, Mr. Nagid," the manager repeated.

"Oh, that would be very nice. I'll be expecting it first thing tomorrow morning," Nagid replied emotionlessly.

"Sure, sir."

"And make sure the Thompsons don't find out about this," Nagid warned.

"Sure, you can trust me with this,"
