Kendrick was sent abroad that night.
Nagid worked efficiently that night, and his father-in-law praised him endlessly.
Cesa Company is one of the most influential companies in the country, thanks to Nagid, the company's managing director. His ideas and cleverness have played a significant role in its success. However, it's hard to believe that the brains behind the company are actually the managing director, not the CEO.
Nagid stood in front of the company, contemplating how he had dedicated most of his life to bringing the company to its current position. He entered the building, as he always did, opting to take the stairs instead of the private elevator reserved for the Sam's family, to which he, as the son-in-law, was not allowed access.
When asked why he couldn't use the private elevator, the excuse given was, "Father, I am fully part of the family now. Why can't I take the private elevator?" His father-in-law replied, "Son, you are meant to be a future leader. As a leader, you must set an example for your employees and encourage them. Regardless of whether someone is the president or the security guard, we are all equal, and anyone can work hard to achieve success in this company."
At that time, this motivation was what drove Nagid to work tirelessly for a family who failed to appreciate his efforts and only saw him as a pawn to be used.
"Hei, Nagid," a familiar voice called out. Nagid recognized the voice without turning around. "Tom, good day," he replied. Tom was Tony's elder sister's son and held the position of director for designs in the company. Although Tom was known for being a womanizer and had no knowledge of design, he had obtained the role due to his position as CEO.
"Emma mentioned that you were unwell. How are you now?" Tom inquired, feigning concern for Nagid's health. Nagid, however, saw through Tom's true intentions. "Yes, she took care of me," Nagid responded. Tom remarked, "I suppose that's what helped you recover so quickly."
"Well, I just wanted to ask about your health. I have to go now; I'm running late for the office. Going to take the private elevator. See you soon," Tom said, leaving Nagid to reflect on the irony. Despite being a mere director of design, Tom had the privilege of using the private elevator, while Nagid, as the managing director, was prohibited from doing so, all in the name of grooming him to become the future CEO.
"Future CEO indeed," Nagid scoffed, mocking himself. He entered his office and began his day as usual, knowing what was about to unfold and planning to turn it to his advantage.
In Tony's office, a young lady sat with her legs crossed on the table, holding a cigarette between her fingers. "You know the rules; I don't need to tell you what to do," she casually remarked. "I'll get it done; I just need more time," Tony responded with a trembling voice.
She stood up and approached him, grabbing his tie and pulling him closer. "I'm not supposed to tell you how to get things done," she whispered, bringing her face close to his. "You might look good, but in your heart... haha, it's as black as coal. Does your wife know you fool around with other women
Tony was taken aback by the revelation. He had believed his indiscretions were kept hidden, but it seemed that nothing remained secret among these people. She continued to toy with his tie, speaking in a flirtatious tone.
"But I won't tell a soul, that is if you keep your word and get the work done," she teased. "Maybe then you'll get to enjoy this body," she added, running her hand suggestively along her curves.
Tony closed his eyes, anticipating the upcoming encounter. However, when he opened his eyes, he found the office empty, as if no one had been there before. He let out a sigh and pondered how he could extricate himself from this mess. He grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
"Get it ready; we are moving this evening," he instructed before ending the call. He closed his eyes, reflecting on the recent events involving his son and the company. He realized he needed some relaxation, and he knew precisely where to find it.
"Cancel all my schedules for the day," he ordered. When reminded of his meeting with the ambassadors from Russia, he snapped, "Do I need to teach you how to do your job? Get Nagid to handle it. Bunch of imbeciles! What do I pay you for?" He slammed the phone down, frustrated with his current situation and longing to work for someone as considerate as Mr. Nagid.
"Well, I can't complain now. I have a task to accomplish," Tony mused, leaving his workload for his hardworking son-in-law to take care of.
He drove to a secluded place on the outskirts of town and parked his car. He walked straight into a house that came into view, where he found a woman sleeping on the sofa. He removed his coat and tossed it onto the sofa before kneeling down and gently tracing the woman's face with his fingers, eventually reaching her well-defined curves.
She woke up with a smile and greeted him, "When did you return?" He replied, "I just arrived. Will you stay for the night?" She asked, to which he responded, "That is if you want me to. But what about your wife?" He explained, "She is sick and many people are taking care of her."
She inquired if he would stay for a long time, to which he replied, "Whatever my queen says." They spent the night together, indulging in their desires as darkness enveloped them.
Nagid arrived home late, as his father-in-law had left his work for him to handle. He found Emma sleeping on the couch, immediately understanding her intentions, but he played along. He knelt down, took her in his arms, and carried her to her bedroom.
As a married couple, Nagid and Emma had never slept in the same room before. Nagid questioned the arrangement, and Emma offered the excuse, "Honey, sleeping in separate rooms intensifies the longing." Being foolishly in love, he believed her every word. He tucked her into bed and stood up, only to be held by her hand. She asked when he arrived, and he replied, "I just did. It's late." Nagid mentioned having to attend to some work at the office, and Emma inquired if he had dinner. He assured her he had bought food on the way.
Concerned about his health, Emma advised him to take care and come back early next time. She mentioned that his sister had gone with their father to an emergency meeting, leaving their mother alone. Nagid expressed his understanding and bid her to get some sleep. Emma asked if he would like to sleep in her room that night, but Nagid declined, citing other work. They bid each other goodnight, and Nagid turned off the lights.
Once in his room, Nagid made a call to inquire about someone's response. The person on the other end informed him that the individual was still cursing and swearing. Nagid advised them to let the person be, knowing they would stop with a little pain. He didn't need to instruct further, as the person was well aware of what needed to be done. Nagid concluded the call, feeling satisfied.
The Thompson family would have never imagined that their beloved son was being held captive abroad. Nagid smiled wickedly and sighed, taking his laptop to work on an interesting project given to him by his father-in-law.
With the grandmother's birthday approaching, he had to prepare a surprising and expensive gift for the greedy old lady. He recalled how, in his previous life, he was humiliated and insulted by her when he presented a gift worth $20,000. The entire family considered it a disgrace. But this time, he had to prepare a gift that would leave the greedy woman breathless. He planned to present the best gift at the party.
With these thoughts in mind, he worked non-stop for four hours, then took a cigarette and stood by the window in his room, contemplating his real family and why they had abandoned him. He questioned why they couldn't have placed him with a better family, but he believed things were about to change now
The next morning, as Emma descended the stairs from her room, she couldn't help but think about the events of the previous night. She noticed a change in Nagid's behavior. He had always wanted to share a bed with her, but yesterday he had turned her down, something he never did before. It seemed like he was avoiding her. Had her charm lost its effect? That couldn't be possible because Nagid had always been drawn to her.Lost in her thoughts, Emma failed to notice a banana peel on the floor in front of her. Just as she was about to step on it, something pushed her out of harm's way. Grateful for being saved from a fall, she was shocked by what she saw. She let out a scream, shouting for help and trying to get away from the figure. The servants in the house rushed outside, alarmed by their young mistress's distress. However, they too froze in fear upon seeing the creature. Cecilia, Emma's mother, came out to investigate the commotion and berated the servants, questioning their ability to
"Nagid was at a loss for words, unsure how to explain himself. "Nagid," Cecilia began accusingly, "Did you plan this? You orchestrated everything, didn't you?" Shocked, Nagid did not responded as she continued , "If you had told me that your wife wasn't giving you attention, I would have done something about it." Cecilia blamed him for something he hadn't even done, and Nagid couldn't comprehend it. "So you think I planned this? And why would I do that? You think I would harm my own wife, the person I cherish above everything else?" "You might want more attention, for her to care about you more," Cecilia suggested, clearly seeing things differently. Nagid felt hurt by her words and responded, "So that's how you see things. Mother, I thought I meant family to you, but it seems I am still considered an outsider. You raised me, and you know me very well." Desperately seeking an explanation, Nagid asked, "Then how do you explain how you knew about what happened before we went there?"
Anna got out of a cab and entered an apartment building, feeling exhausted after a stressful day. She had dealt with a difficult old man, saved a man's life, and even received scolding from a friend. As she took the elevator to the second floor, she mustered the energy to ring the doorbell of Room 32. A voice from inside asked, "Who is it?" "Just a minute," the voice replied. Anna wondered why this person always took so long to do anything. The door finally opened, and the person inside let out a high-pitched squeal, causing Anna to cover her ears. "Anna, you're here!" the person, named Bella, exclaimed. "Bella, can you just shut up?" Anna responded in frustration. Bella tightly wrapped her arms around Anna, exclaiming how much she missed her. Anna complained that she couldn't breathe, and Bella apologized. Anna then asked if she could come inside or if her new room was at the entrance. "Of course not," Bella replied. "Then why are you still standing here?" "Come in, come in,"
"Emma, I want a divorce," Nagid repeated in her mind. Alarm bells rang in her head as she realized the gravity of the situation. She knew Nagid well enough to understand that when he made a decision, he rarely wavered. Feeling a sense of urgency, Emma realized she had gone too far. Nagid was still valuable to her and their family. How could she let him go when he was still useful? "No!" she shouted, desperately trying to change his mind. "Nagid, please don't do this. I'll change, I'll do whatever you want. Please," she pleaded, fear lacing her voice. Nagid's voice was filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "Emma, I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry, but I can't be with someone who doesn't see my worth. I see it all, and I don't want to be an obstacle in your way anymore. Let's just get a divorce, so you can be happy," he said, as if making an agonizing decision. Emma felt a surge of panic. She realized that without Nagid's guidance, the company would suffer, and her father w
"Family?" Kendrick was puzzled. He had no knowledge of Nagid's family. He had always believed Nagid to be an orphan, as he had been told since... "What family are you talking about?" Kendrick asked, confused. "You know your life is in my hands now," Nagid warned. "And I won't tolerate any lies here." "I promise you, I don't know anything about any family," Kendrick pleaded. Nagid began to feel confused. Had he miscalculated? Why did Kendrick have no idea about his identity and family? Could it be that, in this lifetime, they were unaware of his family? Wait, Tony would definitely know. That old fox. He remembered Emma telling him that Tony was the one who informed her about his family and identity. It meant that Tony was the only one in the family who knew about his identity. If Nagid wanted to know everything, he would have to start with Tony. "You don't need to answer if you don't want to," Nagid declared. "Nagid, for the sake of the love you have for my sister, please let me g
At the Central mall, two ladies were arguing over a dress. "I really like the red one," Anna said. "It makes you look more feminine and dominant." "I don't like this," Bella complained. "I prefer the black one." "Why are you so stubborn?" Anna questioned. "You never wear anything apart from black, and it's becoming like a signature look." "A signature look?" Bella pondered. "I like the sound of that." "Anna, I'm being serious," Anna emphasized. "I know," Anna replied. "I'm sorry." "Okay, to make you stop complaining any further," Bella offered. "I will only accept anything you pick for me." "Are you sure?" Anna confirmed. "Anything," Bella affirmed. "Yes, anything. I promise you'll love it," Anna assured. "Ah, I'm beginning to regret it already," Anna sighed with rolled eyes. Anna waited for some time, but Bella didn't return. She started to wonder if her excitement had caused her to forget Anna's dress choice. Anna wondered how someone could get so engrossed in choosing ju
The naive girl looked at the speaker who made the statement and was shocked. She knew a threat when she saw one. This person was no ordinary person. Her appearance was more captivating than anything she had ever seen. Her lips and eyes spoke volumes on their own. She possessed a rare beauty, one that could bring down a country. Although she had always been known for her beauty, she paled in comparison to this woman. The jealous and pretentious lady was none other than Emma herself. She knew Bella was the one who took the dress first, but she simply wanted the dress for herself, using other people. And she almost succeeded until Anna showed up. "As I said, her apology is accepted," Anna declared firmly. "There is no need for her to continue begging as if she had been bullied." The gathered crowd gasped when they saw Anna. This was a rare beauty, the kind they usually only saw in movies. But this lady's beauty was even more extraordinary. It was pure and commanding, something that capt
Anna took the phone away from her ear, startled by the screaming voice on the other end. "You left without saying anything," the voice exclaimed. "This is really unacceptable. You have to come back and oversee things here." Confused murmurs arose among the gathered people, wondering why Anna had made that call. The manager, meanwhile, struggled to recall where he had heard that voice before. It felt so familiar, yet he couldn't quite place it. Anna interrupted the voice abruptly, saying, "Will you just shut up? I'm tired and hungry. We can discuss that later." "Please come back and continue with things over here, okay?" the voice pleaded. "That will have to wait," Anna replied firmly. "I called you for a more pressing matter." "Tell me about it," the voice responded, its tone shifting from complaining to serious. "I'd like to ask about the new Sharon's collection that was released last month. It's supposed to have only two dresses, right?" Anna inquired. "Of course," the voice
