CHAPTER 114

MILLVILLE, NEW JERSEY.

The big garage door opened and Roman walked into the large room with both hands in his pockets. He was dressed in his usual attire—a black suit with a white undershirt. He was surprised when he got the call from Oliver. Coming back to New Jersey hadn’t been left off the plan, but he had no other choice. He was here to listen to what Oliver had to say. Oliver had refused to tell him over the phone.

Oliver Debaucher smiled when he saw Roman walk towards them. Beside him was Susan. There was one of them missing. Daimonte. This made Roman furrowed his brows.

“Roman Lacroix,” Oliver Debaucher sang as Roman approached the large silver table.

“What is it, Oliver?”

Oliver laughed and folded his arms across his chest.

“Always in a hurry.”
