Florence placed her heel on the chest of the guard, who lay on the ground petrified. She pointed the gun at his forehead and pulled the trigger. The bullet burst his head open, spilling his brain matter on the floor. When she was done, she sighed and stepped off him, turning to meet Eric and Ben, who were looking at her in shock. “What?” She asked them as she tucked her gun away. “My people are on their way. Roman watched the paramedics zip up Selena’s corpse into a body bag before wheeling her away. He was standing outside the house now, which was swarmed with police cars and ambulances. Lilian stared at the television as she saw the news. This couldn’t be possible. There was a reporter who was standing at an old cabin telling them about the events of last night. Viper Don and Deputy Behrens were revealed to be working together and they had been killed by Roman Lacroix and his men. This stunned Lilain. Roman sat in his dining room with the two lawyers whom he had met at the funeral ground. They were both from Rhoades family and Floyd’s. It seemed they were here to talk to him about the properties. It was no news that Floyd had stolen the properties from his father. He had killed him and forced his mother to back away from most of his family’s possessions. But that ended when he was killed.
