CHAPTER 62

“Easy there,” Ben said as he helped Roman walk towards a wheelchair.

Roman was holding a walking stick as he walked towards the wheelchair. It was a miracle that he was back on his feet already. It had been four weeks after he had gotten hit in the spine. That was the worst injury one could receive. Roman treated it like it was nothing. It had taken a lot for him to conquer his fears and get better. Ben’s words had helped him. It turned out that he needed someone to push him to remind him of who he was, and Ben had been that person.

“Please don’t let go of me,” Roman said as they almost arrived at the chair.

His spine hurt with each step he took. He also had trouble with breathing. Selena and Lydia were present in the room as they watched Roman take his first steps after injury. It was a lively sight to behold although Selena stopped feeling guilty for everything that had happened to Roman. She had known that something like this would happen, and she had tried her best to stay away
