A BETTER DAY

I woke up early today and put on my workout clothes. Today it's nice out, and I went running and got fresh air. I put on my iPod and did my stretches and got ready to rock out on my run. I stopped at my favorite place to get coffee and breakfast.

Then I head home and take a shower and took a nap. I get back up and start my day. But then I realized Dean wasn't here with me. I get up and head downstairs and I see my mom very upset. I walked into the kitchen, and I set down.

"Mom, are you okay?" I asked

"No, I'm not okay, he left like we were nothing to him and left you pregnant with four babies in there." Mom said

I started to think about what she was talking about, and it hit me that he left me when he said he wouldn't leave. He lied to me. I see why mom was mad. Why now when I need him most?

"Mom, did he leave a note or anything?" I asked

"No, sweetheart, he left." Mom said

"It's going to be okay; you can help me raise the kiddos, and he can go to hell," I said
