CHAPTER 24

Gary was sitting on the cart, next to Leah. There was a three feet distance between them as they sat on opposite ends of the cart.

Sesi and Rowan, however, were pulling the cart like horses and buffaloes would.

“Why do we have to do this?” Rowan complained. “This is so humiliating.”

“Stop complaining and preserve your stamina,” Gary said. “You need to be exercising like this if you want to improve on your stamina.”

“But my stamina is already the top stat I have,” Rowan said.

“Why is stamina your top stat?” Sesi looked at him confusedly. “Shouldn’t strength or speed be your first preference?”

“Yeah, but I think stamina is good when it comes to fighting multiple opponents or running away,” Rowan said.

“So, you are just a scaredy cat,” Sesi snorted.

“O-Of course not! I’m just being cautious, that’s all,” Rowan shouted. “And why am I the only one pulling this when Leah was happily sitting?”

“Shut up,” Sesi hit his head with her braid. It was a decent hit that turned his cheek red.
