CHAPTER 37

THE TABLE WAS silent for a moment, only the sound of Poppy chewing filled the air.

"I am jet lagged," Lucas said, standing up, "I think I will head up to my room to rest."

Stefan nodded, "Go and rest Lucas," He said, "We will talk later."

Lucas nodded and turned to walk away.

"Hey, you," Lucas called to a servant boy, "Carry those suitcases and follow me." He turned to Stefan, "My normal room?"

Stefan looked at Vincent, who nodded in reply.

Lucas went up the stairs with the servant boy carrying his suitcase behind him.

He was boiling with a strange type of anger.

He was not related to the Stone family by blood. He was only here because his mother was smart enough to latch onto Stefan for a period of time and Stefan had seen potential in him. But now, just when he is levelling up and about to prove what he can do to the family's business and wealth, a new guy – related by true blood, this time – shows up.
