Chapter 12

Lucifer was lying on his bed looking towards the ceiling of his room without blinking his eyes. His mind still occupied with the confrontation he had with Maze few hours ago.

He was hurt, he never really thought about things such as proving that he was deserving of the throne. All this time he enjoyed the respect and power of command..but Maze was right, they all bowed to him because he was the king.

Even now when he is Not having rights of the king, and is living on earth, all the supernaturals beings like witches, vampires, werewolves etc regards him as satan, name for the king of hell.

“Maze was right. People respect and trust my throne, not me..how would they actually?…the only big problem that came during my reign was this half dead and instead of getting hold of him I got punished myself.. how are my people supposed to have faith in me when I mess things up my self.” Lucifer said with a sigh..feeling disappointed with himself.

“I want my throne back, i want my people to have faith in me. I will catch Gong and this time I will do it on my own.” Lucifer said to himself and got up from his bed and looked upon himself on the large mirror that was on the wall.

He was wearing a white T-shirt with a black lather jacket onn and black jeans. He adjusted his shirt and jacket and looked at himself with serious in his eyes. Slowly his eyes turned blood red then gradually his face started to turn red, with wound like marks over it, his face could a pure nightmare for any being. Just it’s glimpse was enough to make someone loose his sanity.

He took two heavy breaths and looked at his eyes that had fire rage within. Yes he was angry but now on himself that he couldn’t figure out what his father was doing..instead he went on blaming him. It was like since the incident 300 years ago he had stopped using his mind to full capacity.

But now he was ready, now he wanted to go back to hell, to his throne, to his people and be a worthy king.

“I’ll be the son you wanted me to be..you won’t regret making me Satan…but Father..mind it..now it’s your turn to miss me..Cz from now onn I won’t talk to you to ask for help.” He murmured with a smirk.

He went straight out of his room towards the hallway to his office where Maze was seated on the chair in front of his and was going through some paperwork. He stood at a distance and looked at his friend.

“Maze!” Lucifer said in a serious but low tone and waited for maze’s reaction.

Maze glanced at Lucifer standing in front of him and stood up without uttering a single word. He looked in Lucifer’s eyes and before he could ask anything Lucifer spoke up first as he couldn’t stand the silence around him, “I think you are right.”

Maze was surprised at this statement as he had never expected Lucifer to come on track with just one confrontation. He squeezed his eyes and tilted his head a bit and asked, “Seriously?”

Lucifer said, “well..Yeah..” it was not at all an easy task for someone like lucifer to except that he was at fault. And maze nodded at him.

“Listen I feel like I have messed up few things.. actually a lot of things and then blamed my father for each and everything..plus asking him to help me 24/7 was yet another mistake.” He said with a heavy heart.

Maze looked upto his friend with moist eyes and replied, “I’m glad you figured out where you went wrong buddy. Plus I’m really sorry about the way I talked to you earlier.”

“No not at all..since when you have to say sorry after we fight?” Lucifer said.

“I know but this time this sorry was needed..I knew my words would cause an emotional damage still I said all those mean things..but really I..” maze was saying while Lucifer interrupted, “I know your intentions can never be wrong when It comes to me. Moreover what you said was true..I need to change my ways now..Maze! I want my people to have faith in not only on my throne but in me too.”

Maze smiled and replied, “I believe you..they will too. All you have to di is think like a king now..stop being God’s Son.”

Lucifer nodded and said, “now again if you have used so much of your brain, Do you have any suggestion to tell me what all things I can do..I mean to improve myself.”

Maze slapped his forehead and said, “stop being dependent on anyone…not even me. You are the king. Figure out what you want to do..decide and tell me, I would just provide you with suggestions like minor changes and all including my point of views ..like a noble in court does.”

Lucifer sighed and nodded in a yes. Took a deep breath and said, “ Fine! That was a great job done by you to reduce your amount of work…So I need my army first..and then few powerful beings, one behind every evil soul..So we can track Gong down..moreover evil souls are not so intelligent to figure out that they are being followed.”

“I got powerful beings but Army?..of where?? I mean you can’t have access to army of netherworld.” Maze questioned.

“When did I mentioned Hell? By army I meant my people, who are loyal to me. I’ll make my own army on earth..we need more people to lay a trap for Gong.” Lucifer said.

“Like witches and other supernatural beings?” Maze questioned.

“Absolutely yes! They are living amongst the mortals since the beginning..we have a upper hand here..” lucifer said.

“But you know about the enmities amongst these groups right?” Maze asked.

“Of course I know. That’s why I gave the job of finding out about the girls to Sabrina. Witches don’t hold grudges against any group so they can work peacefully….but enmity between Vampires and ware wolves is definitely a problem for us.” Lucifer said.

“And they won’t even stop fighting even if lucifer ask them too.” Maze said.

After a minute thought about something and then said with a smirk, “no issues we can handle them too.” And after that lucifer turned and proceeded to go back to his room.

while looking at the work he was doing previously Maze murmured to himself “I wonder what he’s upto now..This guy loves making chaos.” knowing how chaotic lucifer can be.

“Well..I heard that” Lucifer said from outside of the office and kept on walking.

“Ohh god his ears..”..Maze murmured again.

“I heard that too.” Lucifer loudly said while entering the main hall..

Maze rolled his eyes and went back to his work..
