Chapter 22

“So your dad name is Vivaan right?” Lucifer asked knowing that gong used a different identity for himself in front of Tom and his mother.

Plus Gong is almost a human and no one can figure out if he was an evil by just his looks.

“Can I talk to Lucifer?” Tom asked.

“You are talking to him kid.” Lucifer said.

“Not you. The real one.” Tom said.

“Kids!” Lucifer thought to himself trying to act perfectly normal.

He gave a broad smile and then said, “Kid, when you are talking to me consider that your messages are already getting conveyed to Lucifer. I never hide anything from him.” Lucifer said.

“Ohh…So you were asking the name right? Yes it’s Vivaan.” Tom asked.

“You know if you ask something from Lucifer then you have to get ready to give something in return?” Lucifer asked.

“Anything you want. I anyways don’t have any reason to live.” Tom said.

“Don’t worry It won’t kill you. But yes 2 drops of your blood is what I need for now.” Lucifer said.

“Just two drops?” Tom asked.

“Yess for now.” Lucifer replied.

After that Lucifer took him to a room where there was a big heavy table kept in centre with a large bowl of water. At least Tom thought it was just water.

“Take this pin. Just two drops ok?” Lucifer said.

The boy nodded and took the pin, with that he pricked his finger and poured two drops of his blood in that water.

Lucifer gave an evil smile and said, “your work is done.”

“That’s it? What would I do till then? How much time will it take?” Tom asked in single breath.

“Catch your horses boy. He will come soon and when he will come, the sky will give you signal on it’s own…you dad would be under the darkest spot.” Lucifer said.

Tom nodded although he was still unsure about the darkest spot and was about to leave when Maze entered the scene. “Hey Tom, already leaving?”

Tom nodded as he figured out that this man must be Maze.

“Kid take care of yourself and don’t get yourself in trouble..And if you need anything you can call us..ok?” Maze asked while giving a card to him.

“Ok” Tom replied. And let the kid leave the mansion.

“You summoned him using that boy’s blood?” Maze asked.

“Of course! The bot wants to meet his father.” Lucifer replied.

“You know the moment he sees him, the boy is no more.” Maze said.

“Nope. Tom is safe till he is 18. Gong will only take him when he becomes an adult. Till then we can use his blood. Gong can not ignore the request of blood.” Lucifer said.

“In next one week Tom will be 18.” Maze said.

“That’s one of the reason why I’m using him. You know why Gong had stopped hunting humans? Bcs he know his son has capabilities to complete him.” Lucifer said and then after one breath he continued, “If we somehow miss Gong this time then we have another chance of catching him when he comes for Tom.”

“Come on Lucifer we can’t use a kid as bait.” Maze said.

“That’s exactly what I’m going to do. We don’t have any other way.” Lucifer stubbornly replied.

Maze knew in no way Lucifer would change his mind. So instead of letting him take risk on his own he thought it was better to join him. And ensure Tom’s safety. He knew Lucifer won’t let anything happen to the kid but he just wanted to be double sure about this safety matter.

Gong whimpered in his sleep, he turned and tossed on his bed while being all sweaty as if having a nightmare.

He woke up with a jerk and was panting heavily. He reached to the glass of water kept on side table of his bed and gulped down whole glass of water in a single go.

“Sir I hope you are alright?” One of his soldier came rushing inside Gong’s chamber with fear in his voice.

“Yeah I’m ok! You may go.” Gong commanded in deep voice and the soldier followed.

He got out of his bed and looked at his lifeless face on the large mirror in front of him..

“So now you are going to use my blood?…I’m coming but I promise you Lucifer this won’t go well.” Gong said under his breath with anger raging in his eyes.

Lucifer was standing at the same field where that incident happened 300 years ago.

The field looked exactly similar to what it was back then. The sky thundered and wind blew in good pace, weather was becoming worse with each passing moment indicating that the blood had successfully summoned his source.

GING WAS COMING!! And today was going to be the day of judgment for Lucifer!

“Ahh!” Lucifer cried out in pain as Gong’s sword in his chest started glowing with florescent green flames around it.

“He’s here!” Maze said looking at the red hue visible from a distance..the colour glowing from Lucifer’s sword. Maze could never get wrong in identifying Lucifer’s colour as he always found it ‘MAGNIFICENT’

Lucifer took a deep breath and was all set for showdown but the confidence in his eyes turned into fear looking at Lily coming along with Gong.

In past few days Lucifer deliberately didn’t met her knowing she would question her about the scene happened at cliff and had trusted her safety with Sabrina.

“What the hell is she doing with gong?” Maze questioned while Lucifer was looking straight into her eyes that were moist but had no fear.

“Don’t you dare harm her Gong!” Lucifer warned Gong who had sword pointed towards her.

“I never harm girls..it’s you who do so!! Remember that girl? Isn’t this the same place?” Gong taunted knowing it was Lucifer’s weakness.

Lucifer eyes turned red in anger as he roared once again, “You shouldn’t have involved her.”

“It’s you who made the game personal by using Tom.” Gong replied with equal rage.
