Chapter 9

Lily was in her deep sleep, rolled in her soft comforter when she saw flashes of her so called hallucination…”he is a criminal..HE IS NOT INNOCENT .”

She felt like it was a known voice but couldn’t figure out who exactly it was. She started panicking again, She woke up with a jerk only to see rays of sunlight falling over her big sized bed via sheer curtains of her window.

She dabbed the sweat on her face with her tissue.. and took a deep breath proceeding with stretching out her body to relax..she again laid back on her back and looked at her phone that was kept on the bed side table, she got hold of it and searched Lucifer’s number and texted..

“Hi. Morning☺️”

“Hey girl. Morning..how are you?” Typed Lucifer who woke up listening to the beep from his phone.

“Great.”

“Glad to know that.”

“Are you sure?” Lily asked while she was still typing further.

“What’s there to get sure about..I’m truly happy that you felling good after that hallucination last night. You looked quite scared.”

“How come you type so fast?..you should have waited for my next text.. I’m asking, are you sure that was just a hallucination?”

“You don’t think so?” Lucifer deliberately asked and waited for her text.

“I don’t know but I don’t feel like that I was just imagining all of that…it all seemed so real..plus I heard someone shouting he’s not innocent and all…I don’t know I feel like I knew that voice but..God I don’t know why I’m not able to take all those things out of mind.” She texted explaining him what all she feels.

Lucifer who was lying on his bed tucked in his comforter, he was shocked to know that she not only remembered the murder thing but also what he had said..and his powers have just suppressed her memories not erased it.

Lily on other hand was sharing her thoughts with him just because in few days they have became close friends and were in good terms. Plus god know why but she had started trusting him a lot.

“Ohh god Lily you are thinking way too much about this small thing.. it can be alcohol effects..chill.” Lucifer texted back and then again messaged “let’s meet today?”

“Today?..not a bad idea.” Lily replied.

“Great then..I will text you the place and time..let’s meet and party around.it would help you in taking all that murder thing out of your mind.”

“Yeah even I think that It would definitely help.”

“Great..by the way you’re bringing any company?” Lucifer asked with a hidden motive of bringing Daisy out in crowd.

“Can I bring along Daisy with me?” Lily asked.

“Sure why would I object with your sister coming with us…btw can I ask maze to join us?” Lucifer asked.

“Sure..” Lily replied

“Great then get ready to partyy.” Lucifer texted and ended conversation.

The very thought of meeting Lucifer was making heart flutter…he was someone who looked as if he was one of the most favourite creation of god.

He was flawless, right from his built, height, jawline to his voice..everything was attractive.

Even the cut mark on his right eyebrow was a complement to his perfectly sculpted face.

She was someone who would at anytime choose nature and intelligence over good looks but in lucifer’s case he was a full package of good looks with free intelligence.

She was falling badly for him…and it was happening involuntarily...she didn’t wanted to..but she couldn’t help.

Lucifer who was still in his bed called upon Maze who was in the office that was in mansion only and spoke in sleepy voice, “we are going out with girls in evening.”

“Wait what? Today? When all of it was even planned ?” Maze asked.

“Choose a good place and reserve table for 4. I will wake up after few hours.” Lucifer said and then again went back to sleep.

“Ohh wait..Luci..” Maze was about to say something but till then the phone got disconnected, “seriously this guy isn’t a morning person at all.” He sighed.

The time and date was already told to the girls and all of them reached the venue on time.

It was a beach side lounge that had a great sunset view. So Maze had made sure that they reach at correct time so that they can witness the view.

All four of them were standing at the sea shore enjoying the beautiful view as the cold breeze rejuvenates every cell of their body.

“Woahh..this all looks so beautiful..” said Lily and Dia in unisons after taking in a long breath with dreamy eyes while the boys smiled looking at the girls enjoying themselves.

Lucifer noticed the calm expressions on Lily’s face and he could read that her mind was clear now. She for that moment at least forgot all the stress that was going onn in her mind. He was glad that she was better, knowing that he was the reason behind the tears she shed that night..he was somewhere guilty about using powers over her as because of that very reason she was now even more disturbed..

“I have been living in Goa since the day I was born, but trust me this is the most beautiful sunset I have ever witnessed.” Dia slowly said knowing Maze was listening to her.

“I’m glad you liked it.” Maze responded while looking at her.

She looked towards him and said, “I have never felt this peaceful..as if I’m at perfect place..the place where I should have been.”

Maze took a deep breath and choose not to say anything..

Lily felt a gaze upon her and saw lucifer glancing at her with a smile glued on his face. She smiled back and looked back towards the sun that was going down, trying to hide her blush from lucifer..which obviously didn’t go unnoticed by him.

He moved forward and stood besides her and asked, “you liked it?”

“I loved it.” She replied without looking at him. Both of them stood their silently enjoying the time.

All four of them stood besides each other enjoying the calmness not knowing what God have planned for them..

somewhere deep in their minds they were all wishing for this calmness to remain forever but The boys where sure that a storm was brewing, may be for now it seems to be far away from them but soon it will come for them and they’ll be facing it…
