Her designs were spectacular and unique. She looked beautiful, always had, and lately,she had begun to appreciate herself a bit more. She paced from one end of her dressing room to the other trying hard to calm herself. The door opened and Elsa came in with the dress.“Everyone’s excited madam Clara. The show’s going well. You should be excited too. Your dress is beautiful.”“Thank you Elsa. Today was supposed to be the most amazing day of her life. She was supposed to be utterly happy and without a care in the world. But Alex had ruined it for her. It wasn’t the fact that he didn’t show up for her event even when she invited him, it was the fact that he chose to be with Scarlet of all people. She had tried to distract herself with her sketches for her new line but she caught herself thinking about him. The way he had kissed her, the feel of his lips against hers, his hands, hard and muscular but soft on her skin, the words he whispered into her ear..She dropped her sketch pad and went to the window for some air.
