HIS RESURGENCE CHAPTER 55Clara sat in front of her mirror and applied make up on her face. she was clearly excited and she smiled occasionally at her reflection. She looked beautiful, always had, and lately,she had begun to appreciate herself a bit more. HIS RESURGENCE CHAPTER 56The hall was filled up, no seats were left empty except for the reserved seats. The day had come quickly and Clara’s nerves were all over the place. She paced from one end of her dressing room to the other trying hard to calm herself. The door opened and Elsa came in with the dress.“Everyone’s excited madam Clara. The show’s going well. You should be excited too. Your dress is beautiful.”“Thank you Elsa. Today was supposed to be the most amazing day of her life. She was supposed to be utterly happy and without a care in the world. But Alex had ruined it for her. She had tried to distract herself with her sketches for her new line but she caught herself thinking about him.
