CHAPTER 33
Vivian felt her hand throbbing, his words hit her. She knew it wasn’t going to be easy but she wouldn’t go home without expressing herself. “Jack, I know what I did was bad. I take the blame for it.” She said.

Mr. Harrison’s gaze moved from Vivian to his son, Nelson and back to Vivian. He felt something was amiss, and he would need an explanation. “Can someone tell me what’s going on?” He abruptly questioned.

She swallowed hard; she didn’t know how to spill out what happened without getting them upset. She was struggling with her words.

Jack steps in, unfolding the truth. Everyone in the dining room was taken aback by what they just heard. Mr. Nelson stared at his daughter with his brow wide in disbelief. He felt angry but kept his cool; his daughter lied to him; she never informed him about what she did.

“Why would you do that?” Mr. Harrison questioned, and now fathom why his son had been angry at her.
