“It’s nothing,” Jack said to Anna.

“Why are you telling her it’s nothing? Why not tell her the truth that you stole someone else card to purchase sneakers just so you could impress her.” Anastasia blurted out.

Jack shook his head in displeasure, his jaw tightening the only thing holding him from unleashing his wrath at them was the fact that they were women.

“I can see you are still angry that you got humiliated; it wasn’t my fault that you couldn’t afford $6,700 to pay for what you bought, and you ended up leaving the store in shame. I can lend you money to get them, or better still, I can help you order for the same sneaker.” Jack said sarcastically with his brow raised.

Anastasia felt embarrassed when she noticed the students whispering among themselves. She knew she had to do something, or Jack might end up making her look like a loser before the other students; Clara Grant narrowed her eyes at her friend.
